These folks just tried to call my fiancee about Lord knows what. We have a car, but it was a gift. We owe nothing on it, and it's not insured because we are about to scrap it. No repairs etc done. Scam.

Additional details are needed for us to investigate any claims regarding a vehicle that was 'gifted'. We encourage this party to contact our office at ************ to speak to a customer service representative for further investigation.

I was behind on payments with this company and they promised to work with me I contacted them several times they kept training the price on me up and down they know I'm on a fixed income and they know that the car was sold to me and I would couldn't afford it and I had contacted them and told him that they repo the car they never sent me a letter and told me that they have the car for all I know the car to be out there wandering around stolen somewhere I found the car and as of today they sent the car or yesterday or who knows when they sent it to the auction it's my surprise I thought they were supposed to send a letter by law stating that they have the vehicle and setting that they were going to give me time to get the vehicle and that they weren't going to send it to auction but as of today I think it said an auction and I don't know whether I could get the car back or not because it's probably been sold I don't even really know where it is I feel like they've been planning on selling the car the whole time and never planned on working with me and I feel like they should done something for I could have had a chance to get my car back plus it's over Blue book value it's not even worth the price they came down half on the price but since they think that I don't have the money they're just going to go ahead and sell it anyway and now I'm out of the car and out of all the money that I put in the car

******************** has not made a payment on her contract for the vehicle since November 1, 2023. Before then, her payment was made in July. Our records reflect months of attempting to reach ******************** to discuss her options for the account. When the vehicle was repossessed on February 11, 2024, ******************** contacted ACC a couple days later. A letter regarding the notice of repossession was mailed to her on February 12, 2024. ******************** is 136 days past due and owes almost $2k in payments and repo fees. *** offered her an arrangement of $800 to get her vehicle back which was less than half of what she owed. She indicated that she couldn't keep up with her contractual payments and she couldn't pay the $800 to redeem her vehicle. *** is unable to make an arrangement that would only allow ******************** to pay once every few months.

ACC financed the vehicle that **************** selected and wished to purchase. *** has also been trying to make arrangements with **************** for her past due delinquency and her lack of work that is impacting her ability to pay.

I opened a finance account with this ********************** after being involved in a hit and run. I purchased a van for about ****** but after the rate hike and taxes it came out to over ****** as if the car was worth that much.. anyway, fast forward to this year I had a financial hardship where I had to move from my residence stemming from the accident which I had not yet financially recovered from. I was actively paying my car instead or rent some times leveraging between electricity and other needs so eventually I had to choose a roof over my kids heads. They end up rightfully taking the car back which is within their right to do so...this is not the problem. The problem is when the car was returned to me it was inoperable. Some how there is a huge dent underneath my car and antifreeze would pour out of my radiator. when I asked about this I was told that they could not confirm or deny that those issues were not already present before it got to taken. to make matters worse.. the auction mechanics removed a lot of the new hoses I had and other working parts then replaces them with other similar low grade parts, they also removed my Duralast battery that i recently purchased and rewired my battery to parts of what looks like my starter and other electrical components which is causing things not to work properly. Once I paid to get my car back it was told to me that the person who allowed me to redeem my car should not have redeemed it to me for less that the quoted amount but according to a policy I was able to redeem it for far less than what they were trying to recover. since then they have been harassing me and accusing me of being unreasonable. although every payment I make they apply it to the storage fee instead of my actual car payment which now made me behind instead of going toward the past due fees i needed to pay to redeem. very confusing situation currently seeking legal council.. I thought we were agreeing on one thing and it turns out they had other plans.

So they basically would constantly call me for money they put insurance on my car after telling them constantly that the car was insured so they kept they insurance on my car for like a yr and half they took my car and was trying to charge me **** $ to get my car back my payment was 518 monthly so if Im behind two months how do it go from **** and something to ****. Then they asked for three thousand just to get my car back but I would still need to pay the thousand plus my payment for 518 so they tried to get me to pay them **** thats a whole new car. I really tried my best to look for other places to refinance but I didnt have no one willing to work with me they was saying I was paying way to much for 2017 Buick encore these people are not right and I dont like the fact they did what they did after all the stuff I went through and they still took my car

Stay away from these people. They are morons. They updated their system and now they are showing my account is past due for a month even though I have paid all of it. I was behind by one month and I called several time after I made 2 payments in a row. How can I still be past due if I pay the 2 months to catch up. Honestly I really hope there was a way I could walk to their office and do the job for them. Stay away if you ever see these people while trying to buy a car.

The confusion is related to the insurance premium that was placed on the account which has since been corrected on the account. The next payment is due in April.

Purchased a van. They have changed address where I get my statements. Had to argue as I had not moved. Now several months later after first issue was resolved I again am not getting statements 2 months in a row. They blame it on post office. I am not behind but it seems like a scam that they are trying to make me be late. I call point out problem. They are more interested in updating any data then fixing there problem. Spoke with a supervisor who said that there has been issue with others not getting statements but as I was told a third party sends out statements and if I do not receive one I am still responsible to pay on time. You can not go to a website to check info as they do not put info up as a real company does. Sorry to say a sad excuse for a company. Again I am not behind nor late. The other issue I have is they do not report in a timely method to credit agencies here it is New Years Eve and last time credit agencies heard is October. When I called about this was told its credit agencies not acc. Seems to be the common excuse for acc. Its someone elses fault not theres. I can not even get them to correct my first name on account. *****. Not ******. They have my license with correct name and all paperwork. But they can not correct there mistake. *************************

Rude, unprofessional and ridiculous collection practices. I have dealt with their California branch and they are nasty, rude and ridiculous. If your payment is late by 2 days... YES 2 DAYS they are calling you and harassing for a payment. You cannot pay after 2 weeks of the due date because that requires God's approval and thats if they are able to reach him, so you might continue to get daily collection calls until they get the approval. They are harassing, OVER THE TOP COLLECTORS that have been reported over and over to the BBB and yet, no one has done ANYTHING! WHY???

      Automotive Credit Corporation Response

The customer executed an installment contract which requires payments of $436.70 due on the 2nd of each month. During her contract term, she has made a request for a due date change which was honored, she requested a deferment of payment which was also honored, and ACC has waived late fees as a courtesy. This was yet another request to pay later than her contractual obligation, and the customer service representative indicated to Ms. Spiering that supervisor approval was needed due to the numerous requests already made and granted. This is a part of our policy and we are sorry for the inconvenience that Ms. Spiering experienced as our staff was following that policy. It should be noted that our records reflect a phone call on July 26, 2021 and a call on July 28, 2021. Prior to then, the last phone communication with Ms. Spiering was March 22, 2021.
