    August 19th I inquired for some help in purchasing a vehicle from a dealer. ******************* got back to me and said they do about 20 percent of their business in *****, being that they are in **********. *** set me up with ************************* to represent me in buying the vehicle. He told me there would be $199 fee to start and it was fully refundable if I did not go through with the deal on the vehicle, they would help me obtain discounts, rebates and invoice pricing on the vehicle. No vehicle was purchased due to the chip shortage that's affecting a lot of car manufacturers. I sent an email on September 20th explaining that I was canceling due to the chip shortage and it was ignored by **** first, then I resent the email to *** about canceling on the 27th. They both ignored my email about canceling and getting a refund. Everything was over the phone and email, there was no documents involved about a non refundable fee. Nothing was signed and no service was provided being that a vehicle was not bought.

    Well I hired myhopscotch to help me find the truck I was looking for. Went through all the process only to find out the window sticker truck they had send me was not the truck I signed all the paper work for. I was suppose to purchase a black exterior and black interior truck. What I bought was a black exterior black interior truck. *************************** tells me that I should hire them to do all the labor and when everything is ready go and sign all the paperwork. Long story short the dealer sold my truck and changed all the paper, vin number, etc to the truck that I didnt agree on. *************************** charge the final payment for the deal before I closed out the deal. Instead of assuring their payment they shouldve of checked all the info was right. After everything was s said and done you all are better off just doing the labor. Everything doesnt go as smooth as the tell you. Very Bad Experience and never again!!!!

    We were both surprised and disappointed to hear about your experience with myHopscotch. We leave it to you, our client, to visually inspect the vehicle you are buying before signing any documents and we are surprised that was not done. If the vehicle was inspected before the documents were signed, this matter could have been avoided completely.We do everything in our power to satisfy our clients, which is why when your issue was initially presented to us, we offered to a) cancel the sale and find another truck or b) negotiate an even better deal for the same type truck with a different color interior. We were clearly instructed to negotiate a better deal, and we followed your instructions.Although the first of its kind, we truly appreciate your feedback and will use it to help improve our communication in the future.
