Unless you are a tech genious and need absolutely no customer service at all do not use this company! We even paid the extra 1600 because we are opposite of tech anything and it was for set up, tutorial, menu design etc.. and absolutely everything has been wrong in the first month! Answer we get from smug salesman is you set it up wrong I say I thought I paid for you guys to assist in setting up? Nope. We just discovered system isnt charging tax on bills! Thats ***** out of our pocket. Guess what you set it up wrongWife has spent 15 hours on phone with them first 3 weeks and no resolutions to anything!Review from Kapreece L

Hello, Square Im ********************************* A.K.A - ***** OF ******** Im a Licensed Cosmetologist, Luxury salon suite owner, and much more I've been with you guys before and now, and referred many of my Cosmo students and other salon/ salon suite owners on my platforms in **********. At this very moment im having issues with square saying my card/account has stopped and will not allow me to transfer any of my funds to due to fraudulent Activity due to high end walk-in client came and got a haircut for $10 tipped me $200 for a amazing job . July 4th I received a client and her service was $151 for a partial color. That being said, I worked my **** off for my Licenses, the type of clients I have, funds and finances, and cant even touch it . my salon rent was supposed to be due today (July-4th), but you guys stopped it. salon rent is $250 every week Thursdays , late fees afterwards is $25 extra each day. That being said after today it is considered LATE PAYMENT which is a additional +$25 towards my *************** by day until its paid, what im really writing this email is to see how do we go about with this and move forward , because a simple SORRY is not a exception at this point , and isnt going to pay for my rent for the added days that you guys put a HAULT on if my rent is not paid it could result with the building owner suing me all because you guys putting the stop to my BUSINESS / FUNDS. At this point im asking for corporate to get involved because at the end of the day this is my Salon Business thats being affected negatively my license and proof from the owner is below about late fee charge and confirming the rent due date on every Thursdays . And I also have pics/videos of the two clients of proof from those transaction if you need those also since I made content with them.Review from James G

They have held money in square not allowing us to withdraw to complete a job that our client hired us to do. My client can now not close on his home because square is holding up the job and holding up my clients real estate closingReview from Kevin P

Would strongly recommend not using this company? I signed up with them Sunday June ************************************************* credit for one. Today is Thursday, July 4 still have not received the rest of my payments so I called them to find out. I will not receive any payments until July 26. But you best believe they took their money out day one why would you want to use a company that you cant receive your money for a whole month later terrible company every company has problems this way strongly recommend do not use this companyReview from Rob W

If I could zero stars, I would... Absolute worst. I spent about 20 minutes trying to login to my account. ********************** had setup 2-factor authentication (automatically) since the last time I logged in, which resulted in me not being able to log directly in. After a series of "authentication" codes being texted to me I was able to login... however, even as I was logged in, I still had to play the "authentication" game when trying to setup a new phone number. This did not work. At one point, I was in an authentication loop... which I got out of by closing out the window.I tried calling support, but their automated system said they were closed (this was at 8:30am) and they gave their hours of 6am to 6pm. I deleted my account and deleted the Square app from my Android... time to look for another cc processor.Review from Errol W

If doing a big transaction they will take the 3% but also the instant transfer fee even it u don't request it. I had that problem then when I tried calling to inquire why they just kept hanging up.Review from Jessica H

??One star is too high!!! *????Square is responsible for the Cash.app. If you deal with sending money for an item or service via Cash.app even if it is ******** Marketplace, you are screwed if the person just decides not to send you something. Vice versa if you provide a service and they say they will pay via Cash.App, if their account is wrong, you are screwed. I am a hard working nurse who tried to buy a pair of shoes from $bmacc1108. I sent $115 bucks. Cash.app hangs up on me and no email is returned from cash.app or ********* Be cautious of cash.app and $bmacc1108Review from Randy H

I am a customer of a mechanic who uses ********************** to accept credit card transactions I paid $****** to get my truck fixed guy couldn't do it so he issued me a refund about 3 months later after the initial transaction took a screenshot of it and then all of a sudden Square holds the refund and refuses to give me the refund or even talk to me since I'm not a square customer forcing me to file a dispute with my bank while I'm out ****** in month five now ....there has to be a way to file a lawsuit against these people judging off all the reviews I'm reading this has cost me loss of Transportation where I can no longer afford to pay people to give me a ride I am suffering without my vehicle I can't get it fixed because I don't have the money anymoreReview from Michael D

Square seemed great at first, but our experience has been a disaster. They froze our account without warning and are holding our money hostage. ***************** Nonexistent. After endless attempts, we got nothing but vague, unhelpful responses. There's zero transparencyno reason given for the freeze, no steps to resolve it. This isn't just an inconvenience; it's crippling our business. We can't pay employees, meet obligations, or manage operations. Square has essentially stolen our money and left us in a financial crisis.If you value your money and sanity, avoid Square at all costs. They are a nightmare to deal with and will wreck your business.Review from Su W

This is a fraudulent company who somehow obtained my card information without having a business. Their customer service denied me their names or work is number. They continue to charge my account without authorization, without refunds and no apology or resolution. They have no record of my name in their database yet they have my routing and account number to charge my account. I do not have a business and minimal income therefore I am unable to file a small claims or get my money back. This is indeed a unjust company who is ethically challenged. I caution folks to watch out for them as I have not signed up with them and yet they were still able to take from me.
