They prey pretty aggressively on people with middling but not terrible scores with really high interest rates - even before all the recent hikes. I ran into an issue - which was not LendingClub's problem, to be clear. However, when speaking with them to try and work out a solution to avoid filing bankruptcy, I was told they weren't willing to have any sort of discussions about my account including the payment, the outrageous interest rate, or the amortization schedule. Which is fully their right, but it does mean that in all likelihood we're looking at a bankruptcy filing that leaves them earning zero interest rather than just less than they originally expected.Genuinely terrible customer service, and really dismissive representatives. I would think long and hard about how badly you need anything before dealing with these guys.Review from Kevin F

I am quite a novice when it comes to any type of technology. I am so appreciative of the ease with which I am able to use your app and the assistance I have gotten when I have hit a snag. Lending Club has been top notch in my book for helping with loan applications and distribution of funds directly into my account in a timely manner. **************** is a strongpoint in a world where it had seemingly disappeared. Lending club as been an amazing and professional. I have been able to pay off my high interest credit cards. I was able to do some home improvements. I have a monthly payment that fits my budget. I will definitely use lending club for other projects.Review from Tracy B
