      They keep contacting me. Keep asking for a date of birth phone number or address. When I say that I need to know why they are calling before I confirm they say “business matter.” Which is entirely too vague. I finally looked up a call back number and it took me to a collections website. I was never sent a letter. I am not going to give information to collections if you haven’t attempted to contact me previously. I know that I don’t owe. It seems like a scam. I know my info was recently leaked so I am assuming that’s how they have info for me to confirm. They need to be held accountable. Stop calling, it’s insufferable.

      Received call from this company trying to collect on a hosp ital which was already paid, Un professional - two people laughing between each other to figure out what to answer, could not provide any documentation. Do not pay them until you check with original Facility.

      These ******** constantly call me while I'm at work. I definitely don't owe any money & they harassing me. I never picked up the phone until today & curse at the guy & he immediately hung up. They don't leave voice mails. Really getting tired of it

      This company has no clue of what and how to do their business. I received a collection bill from them, and I called and spoke with Gina **** and confirmed to her this account was paid in full. Now they are trying to scam me by sending them money. They are also trying to blame another collection agency instead of them doing their job and due diligence to make sure they are not harassing good individuals who pay their bills and debts. This company needs to be put out of business. Please, please before you send them money or any other collection agency money. Call the original company you owe and have them send you a paid in full statement. Again, I made Gina **** who works for AvanteUSA aware of the paid in full statue of this account. She didn't care what I was trying to tell her. All she said was, I was being advised of a collection debt and needed to pay. I told her I wasn't going to be rude; I was advising her; I was going to end the conversation. Gina ****, just hung-up on me. She can't say, she didn't because the phone calls are recorded for quality and assurance. Also, check your credit report to see if it has been illegally placed as a debt (collection) against you. Which will now make your credit report score go down. Dispute, Contest, Argue, send a letter, whatever you need to do in connection with the bad collection on your credit report, so they can take it off. If they don't or persist calling or sending you letters, I would retain legal counsel because you made them aware of the paid in full statue of that specific account. They are now harassing you. I don't understand how they can just keep harassing individuals and get away with it. Remember, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) (15 USC 1692) which became effective March 1978 was designed to eliminate abusive, deceptive and unfair debt collection practices. If you sue, you can win up to $1,000. Keep this in mind as they keep making their calls to you and keep a record.

      I received a call from this company regarding a hospital bill I paid on time as soon as I received the bill from the hospital, the hospital offered me %15 off if I paid it right away and I did. The agent advised me to email Lisa Porter in order to explain the situation which is I did and I provided a copy of my credit card statement I used to pay the bill and if she did a simple math calculation she ll find out that I am saying the truth and the other issue I had that this hospital closed and no more in business and they sold the bills to credit collectors . I advised her to do investigation and call the credit company instead she put it on my credit and added additional fees for $59 . I disputed the charges and I won both cases and for them instead of issuing an apology then sold it to another bill collector which I have to deal with more headache for something I already paid
