They are not good at communicating if there is delays they over priced me on my front door at $4,309 and I asked for a formal quote on my gitters,wimdows,and siding,the quote they gave my at my hose was less then the quote they left on my door and that didn't even include all the work that was in the original work. I have called them a bounce of times just to get put off.

A couple weeks ago, my wife answered the door to someone claiming that they were with White Oak Construction, and with this being our first home she signed our names and they contacted us a couple days later. When the time came, two guys showed up to our home and we let them in. Showed them all the windows, and the doors, and talked for about 3 hours about windows and how they have this magical compound that the lower part of their doors are made out of that is supposed to make them resistant to rotting and stuff (and of course the door isn't going to rot, ITS MADE OF FIBERGLASS AND EXPANSION FOAM). Not only that, these doors are doors that you can get from places like Lowes for $700-$1000. When we finally got our options picked out, they had us wait 45 minutes for them to come up with a price. For 10 windows, 2 doors, and 2 storm doors, they wanted $38,000 EVEN IF WE AGREED TO LET THEM PUT A SIGN IN OUR YARD. That alone is insane, but then i played the game as I had time to waste. Got them down to just the front door and they wanted $4,900. NO DOOR SHOULD COST THIS MUCH. After I told them that we couldn't just decide on the spot and that we needed time, they told ua that price is only good for 10 minutes then theyd have to go. When i stood on the idea that we'd have to talk about it, they left our place and SLAMMED our existing storm door causing it to break more and wouldnt even acknowledge me when I thanked them for their time. Not worried about that as it needed replaced anyway but what company hires people to come to your place, try and sell you an outrageous price, then SLAMS your door causing it to break, especially in front of your 1 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. No sorries, no apologies, nothing. If I could give this place a 0 star I would. F--k this company and f--k those two who were complete d--ks.White Oak Construction Corporation

A ***resenative for this company knocked on my door and asked if I am planning on having any ***airs done in the near future. So I advised that I am looking to possibly have some windows ***laced next year. So the *** took my information. When the company called me the caller ID populates as "potential spam". I answered and scheduled their free estimate for 5:30pm a few days later. Instead of sending a laborer or tech. They sent two sales ***s who stayed at my home for 2.5hrs giving me and my wife a sales pitch. They bragged about their limited lifetime of 50yrs that supposedly covers everything except intentional damage. When I asked for the terms and conditions copy of the warranty, but they had about 5 full binders of information that they didnt fully show or go through, and about 3 luggage backs of displays examples. They say their window are 100% vinyl and that you cannot get them from *********** lowes or menards. That those stores only sell windows that will crack and break within 10yrs. After about 2hrs of their sales pitch and taking 10min to measure my windows from inside my home. They finally written up an estimate. They advised of a price that includes their advertising discount if we allow their sign to be in our yard for 2months. That price for 9 windows and a bay window was a little over ****** including the advertising discount. Now that offered only stood for the time being of them at my home and once they leave the offer doesnt stand. So I asked for pricing for 2 windows. That pricing including the advertising discount was *****. So I looked up a ********** window which ********** charges 270 for a window. Even if white oak charges double that they are still charge about 1500 for labor which is disrespectful, a rip off, and just flat out crazy. I had gutters installed and window work done. I felt the installers knew what they were doing and professional. The materials and quality of work was excellent. Everything was done quickly and on time. I would trust this company to do work for me again. The installers were positive about their employer, which tells me they would be invested in their work and their morale was good. I wasnt happy about having to make a decision, whether to have them do the work, the same day that sales spoke with me. I felt anxious and under pressure and made a down payment I wasnt prepared to make. Giving me at least a couple days to make my decision, would have been much better. I also wasnt sure how they determine the cost, as it changed throughout the conversation.White Oak Construction Corporation

Had some door to door person come by a few weeks ago, and after some discussion back and forth I had two men come over to look at pricing for maybe getting my roof and gutters done. After looking at what they had to offer and getting my roof inspected by them, I decided to take a chance and have them work on my front gutters as a way to personally check if I like working with them. The other day the workers came by and installed the gutter, after making sure the down spouts and runoffs would go where I want them to. They were quick and professional, after a short walk in my yard to see if they left any nails I didn't find any. Will definitely be interested in working with them when my budget allows for more expensive projects that I don't have the knowledge to manage on my own.White Oak Construction Corporation

No stars! The sales people came in and pumped me for information. Silly me I thought they were supposed to tell me about their products and services. Not sure how these people sleep at night and how they are still BBB accredited. Company offers a "quality" product. Claim they have come up with some revolutionary quality compound that somehow your hardware stores are incapable of selling. Their quality installers are like no other. Oh and the garbage warranty pitch. This is 2 and a half hours of my life I will not get back, all because I was trying to be polite. This is ******* disguised as business. My assumption is that they target older communities. Then, talk the people to death trying to build rapport. They make the consumer invest so much time that they feel like they have to commit. Don't come to people's homes and waste their time. Give the estimate and leave. People have families and lives. I cannot talk to the quality of their product but their sales tactics are just sleezy. Make sure you get three quotes. The variation between the three quotes I received was so outrageous that I can tell some companies aren't being honest and I believe this is one of them.
