      Daina L from customer service was of great help to me on July 22, 2024. I got a loan from Easyfinancial that was suppose to be in my bank account on Saturday July 20, 2024 This did not happen because of a mistake in recording my phone number. I spoke to the representative at the branch who assisted me to let him know I had not received the funds. He told me because of the mistake it would take 24 hours to receive the funds. I called head office and spoke to Daina who assisted in getting the funds into my account immediately. Thanks for your help Daina you are a life saver.

      *** ****** ******* I had to shut down my business and I had made arrangements to have freezer I was leasing from then to be picked up on June 29th and I would settle my account on Wednesday June 26, 2024. As far as I knew there were no problems and I was just waiting on the settlement amount, which I hadn't received yet. Then today the truck shows up to pick up the freezer. I let them know that they were supposed to come next Saturday. I thought this was the end of it. Nope. This here by the name of Charles calls me and tells me if I don't let them in to take the freezer he was going to have his men pound on my door until I did let them in. Then he decided that he was going to have the police come over to. I explained to him that I had made arrangements for it to be picked up next Saturday and that I had also arranged to settle my final account on Wednesday. He said that he was making all arrangements null and void. He asked me how embarrassed and ********** would I be with police as well as a bailiff here to force me to do what he wanted. He ended up making me cry I was so upset. *** * ****** *** **** **** *** ********** ******** ***** ** *** * *** **** ****** ** **** *******  *** ** ****** **** **** ********** ***** ** *** I was returning the freezer.       easyhome would like to apologize if the customer had a negative experience with an easyhome branch. easyhome understands that the customer went through a frustrating experience with the branch manger, Charles. However, the branch manager proceeded with collections according to the easyhome policy. When a customer defaults on their first payment, the lease agreement is terminated and easyhome can make the decision to repossess the item at any time. easyhome gave the customer a 2-week grace period to pay or return the item because the customer lived an hour away from the branch. easyhome did not have a set arrangement with the customer due to their history, hence why the item was repossessed before their expected arrangement date. easyfinancial understands if the interactions with Charles may have been unexpected and negative, but their intentions were to reclaim the item according to their process. easyhome apologizes for the less than ideal customer experience and if the customer has any other concerns, easyhome customer service team can be reached at ###-###-####, Mon-Fri: 8 am to 8 pm and Sat-Sun: 10 am to 6:30 pm EST.

      At no point was I told I was bring put into collections! I had made arrangements for the return of the freezer as well as final payment in full.       I was thrilled to get a loan for $10,000 but something didn't seem quite right. The girl on the phone rushed me through the contract. After hanging up the phone I was actually able to read it without her yapping in my ear. It says I had to pay back 45000 in total???? So I decided then I needed to cancel the loan. I called and the lady on the other end just said to send back the money as soon as it arrives in my account. And everything would be good. So I did. Now they have started to take payments out. Even after I've cancelled and sent back the money.. I called. They want a screenshot of my bank account number, balance and payment all in the same picture. I couldn't get that, I called my bank they were unable to provide me with this. This "company" does not care about the customer. This company has made me never want to take out a loan again. Now I have to wait 10 days and MAYBE they will refund my money that I need tomorrow. ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** **** ***** They only do what's in their best interest. You want YOUR money back? Good luck

Upon reviewing your account, it has been confirmed that your first payment was in transit at the time you returned the funds, and this resulted in an extra payment being deducted on May 17th . easyfinancial can confirm that a refund has already been processed for the overpayment.       I want to say that I am forever grateful that with easy financial I was able to rebuild my credit. The customer service agent at the Moncton New Brunswick branch on Main Street was outstanding. I originally got the loan at the London Ontario location on Adelaide St and the customer service was *********. I highly recommend the company but not that branch. They hid fees from me, told Me I could not make payments at other stores only that one, IF they answer the phone they sound like they hate their job and don't care. I know that location doesn't represent the company as a whole which is why the Moncton location saved my experience. I have rebuilt my credit and can move forward in life with less stress and the feeling of achieving goals. I could not have done that without this loan. I was in great need when I purchased the loan and I can't thank Easy Financial enough for giving me the opportunity to better my future.I did have to differ the odd payment as life happens but i recommended this to anyone who was in my situation as long as you are responsible enough to budget and make your payments. The customer service representative in Moncton should be given a medal or statue...her name is Nandita. This has really helped my life for the better. Your mission statement is to help and rebuild credit and that is what happened with work and understanding on both ends. Thank you one last time for bring there when I needed it and helping me rebuild credit which will essentially help rebuild my life and create the future I am determined to achieve.

      ********* ******* I have paid off two Easyfinancial Loans. * **** ******** ******* ** **** *** assumed they would honour their mission to make repayment easy for individuals; however, repayment has been difficult. Despite having a good credit history with the company, I am not eligible for lower interest. My $11,000 Loan (including two increases) will now cost $40,0000 plus. Read the small print, *** ** *** ****** **** **** *******. They may look like a bank that has your best interests at heart, but they are not. ** ******** ** **** **** **** ******** ****** ****

      easyfinancial would like to acknowledge the customers concerns regarding the interest rate and would like to apologize if they were not addressed accordingly. According to our records, our staff worked with the customer and were able to reduce the interest rate from 39.99% to 37.99% and refinanced the loan to reduce the bi-weekly payments from $241.53 to $173.47. Our interest rates for unsecured loans range from 29.99% to 46.96%, and the rate is determined by multiple factors such as credit history, income, etc. The interest rate is not strictly based off the elapsed term with our customers. However, our personal loans are open and can be paid out at any time. If extra payments are made, this can help reduce the accumulated interest, which in turn shortens the term. Therefore, the loan does not need to be kept until the end of the maturity date. If customer wishes to further discuss this matter, it is recommended the customer call our customer service team at ###-###-#### between Monday to Fridays 8am to 630pm EST

      I am joint applicant on a loan since July of 2021. The loan was originally for $7,720. After almost 3 years, they are saying that the loan is still at $7,013. Every time I call to get information, they give me another balance that is owed. I honestly think they are tacking on more money that is owed.       easyfinancial would like to acknowledge customers concerns regarding the loan balance and apologize if they were not addressed accordingly. Upon review, customer had 7 deferrals and 14 missed payments, which lead to a backlog of accumulated interest. As outlined in the loan agreement, each payment is allocated to any outstanding interest and fees first, then remaining gets applied towards principal. The customer was advised this breakdown of the loan payments and the impacts of multiple deferrals by easyfinancials' customer service representatives. They were also provided a summary of their transactions to clarify any misunderstanding they had about the loan payments. Alternately, if customers skip their payments, they can make extra payments to reduce the impact of the accumulated interest. This explanation was discussed with the customer on multiple occasions but if they require more clarification, it is recommended that the customer contact the easyfinancial customer service team at ###-###-#### between Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6:30 pm EST.

      I just got a new number a couple weeks ago. I and the person whos name the account is under have called repeatedly informing them the person they are looking for no longer has this number. They continue to call me, text me and leave voicemails. I called again and they said they removed the number and asked why I would still be receiving them as if I would know.       Have dealt with Easyhome in the Cariboo for 5 years. Since they closed the Williams Lake location, I've had to deal with Kamloops amd have had nothing but problems. Recently in October, they had an open house and I got a bed through them. Made a payment and was told delivery would be within that week. It has now been almost 2 months and I have yet to receive my bed. When I contact the branch I continuously get told by one employee that they are looking into hiring a driver and it should be delivered within a week or so, where another employer will just tell me that they have yet to hire a driver and there manager can't give me a date. Yet they continue to have Open Houses and state delivery is available. Not a very good business in my opinion when they keep taking your money and get nothing in return for months.

      easyhome appreciates the review provided by the customer and the opportunity to speak with the customer's partner on the matter recently. It can be confirmed that due to the customer's location from the store (3 hours away) scheduled delivery was challenging and canceled by the customer on 2 different occasions as well as by the store due to staffing and scheduling issues. The store and customer were unable to finalize a delivery date and time that would work for all and the product order was canceled. Although easyhome acknowledges the customer has borrowed with easyhome in the past with no issue, the continued delays in delivery and receiving a payment lead as well as the escalated nature of the calls to the store that included inappropriate language and threats towards the company, lead to the final decision of canceling the lease agreement with no further payments or arrangements to be made on the product and a full refund issued to the customer for any payments made during the active lease period.
