BBB Military Line, founded in 2003, is a consumer education and advocacy program for Active Duty, National Guardsmen, Reservists, Veterans, Retirees, DOD Civilians and their family members. It is part of the Department of Defense Financial Readiness Campaign, and work in cooperation with DOD and all branches of the Armed Forces of the United States. Through this program, BBB interfaces directly with military personnel and their families. The programs work to expose substandard marketplace behaviors.
BBB's Military Line is a fun and interactive consumer education program designed to teach about such things as being a smart consumer, purchasing a new or used vehicle, buying a home, and wise investing, and are available to all active duty and retired personnel and their families.
We believe that knowledge really is power and financial readiness equals mission readiness. Through BBB Military Line consumer education program and our web-based and mobile technology endeavors, we work to bring financial literacy to a most deserving segment of our society. Education and outreach is user-focused to equip those who serve, have served, and their families.
