BBB’s Torch Awards for Ethics, in its 28th year, honors organizations whose leaders demonstrate a high level of personal character; ensure that the organization’s culture meets the highest standards of ethics; and consequently generates trust with its customers and the community.
These Torch Award winners embody BBB’s mission of advancing business trust by building a community of trustworthy businesses and giving consumers peace of mind.

In a new effort for 2022, Spark Award winners and Students of Integrity Scholarships were also celebrated Tuesday evening. “Celebrating our winners from each of our awards programs in one night sets the stage for connections and camaraderie, exemplifying conscious corporate citizenship, and paves a way in advancing trust for future generations of leaders in our Central Ohio Community,” said Judy Dollison, President of BBB of Central Ohio.
BBB’s Spark Award recognizes business owners 35 and under or businesses in operation for less than three years, and celebrates the unique opportunity entrepreneurs have to spark trust at the inception of their business. The recipients were chosen earlier this year by a panel of judges who select the winners based on their high level of character, authentic culture, and connections with the community. The winners are Collaborate and Elevate LLC, 180 Demo LLC, and Benesafe Solutions LLC.
Since BBB’s Students of Integrity Scholarship Awards' inception in 2002, ten high school seniors have been recognized yearly from BBB’s Serving Central Ohio’s 21-county service area who personify high character through leadership, community service, overall personal integrity, and academic accomplishments.
Student honorees are selected by a panel of judges from the business community to each receive a $1,000 scholarship paid to the college/university of their choice.
