BBB believes in the power of trust, and our mission is to advance trust in businesses and throughout the marketplace. BBB Torch Awards for Ethics recognizes and celebrates businesses that are dedicated to ethical business practices.

ABOUT

BBB Torch Awards for Ethics was established in 1998 to celebrate local businesses dedicated to building trust through ethical practices with their staff, community, marketing approach, and industry. But it's more than just recognition for those that deserve it. It is a way to raise the bar of ethics and trust-building in the marketplace.

BBB's Torch Awards for Ethics spotlights individuals and companies in Metro Atlanta, Athens and NE Georgia, representing praiseworthy ethical business practices throughout our marketplace.

Being selected as a BBB Torch Award for Ethics winner is an honor that includes the following recognition:

Inclusion in a press release announcing Recipients and Finalists
Announcements made via BBB’s social media channels
Inclusion in BBB promotional media
Lifetime use of the BBB Torch Award for EthicsSeal (as long as winners maintain a “B” rating with BBB)
Torch Award for Ethics trophy presentation by BBB
Website recognition
Winners are eligible to participate in the International Torch Awards for Ethics

Nominate a Business

The Torch Awards for Ethics is open to all non and for-profit businesses within the 47 counties served by BBB serving Metro Atlanta, Athens & NE Georgia. Nonprofit organizations or businesses whose primary markets are local, state, or federal governments are NOT ELIGIBLE for this award.

Eligibility & Criteria

The Torch Awards for Ethics is open to for-profit, 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6) nonprofit organizations of all sizes located within BBB’s 47 county service areas.
