The 4 C's of the Torch Awards

The BBB Torch Awards honors organizations whose leaders focus on the four C’s and measures: 

  • The Character of the organization’s leadership; 
  • If and how an authentic Culture is being fostered; 
  • The company’s transparent relationship with its Customers; 
  • And the impact the organization is making in the local Community

The application questions center around these four C's. Also, you can start the application and return later.

Eligibility criteria
  • BBB Accreditation is required.
  • Must have been in business for three years.
  • Not eligible if you've won the Torch Awards in the past three years.
  • Do not have a current ad review or investigation.

Judging process
  • Entries evaluated by independent, voluntary panel of judges comprised of business and community leaders.
  • Submission, including examples, stories and documents, should provide robust and accurate depiction of your organization’s focus on character, culture, customers and community..
