What is the Student of Integrity Awards? 

An award program designed to recognize high school seniors who personify high character through leadership, community service, personal integrity, and academic accomplishments. 

Who is eligible to enter? 

Each high school within the 10-county service area of the Upstate may nominate up to two high school juniors during the '24-'25 school year.

What is the deadline? 

All applications must be submitted digitally or be postmarked no later than April 18, 2025. To submit an application digitally, email all components to Abigail at abigail@upstatesc.bbb.org.

What will winners receive?

Each student will receive a scholarship of $1000 or more to an accredited school/college of their choice. Awards will be presented to recipient students at the Business of Integrity Awards on November 6, 2025. Students must be present at the event to receive the award. Scholarships will be distributed once the BBB receives verification of the student’s college enrollment.

What is the selection timeline?

Scholarship recipients will be chosen by a panel of judges comprised of past and present educators, local business and community leaders. The students and their respective school officials will be notified by mail in September regarding their selection as an award winner. Winning students and school officials will receive invitations to attend the BBB Upstate Annual Celebration of Ethics held on November 6, 2025.
