What is the Student of Integrity Awards? 

An award program designed to recognize high school seniors who personify high character through leadership, community service, personal integrity, and academic accomplishments. 

Who is eligible to enter? 

Each high school within the 10-county service area of the Upstate may nominate one student from the 2020-2021 junior class.

What is the deadline? 

All applications must contain 5 copies of a complete entry portfolio and be postmarked no later than April 23, 2021.

What will winners receive?

Each student will receive a scholarship of $1,500 to an accredited school/college of their choice. Awards will be presented to recipient students at the Business of Integrity Awards on November 11, 2021. Students must be present at the event to receive the award. Scholarships will be distributed once the BBB receives verification of the student’s college enrollment. Recipients will have an opportunity to partner with BBB on community service efforts for the following year and may donate up to 4 hours on one of the SOI supporting programs of interest.  You may contact BBB representative for more information.

What is the selection timeline?

Scholarship recipients will be chosen by a panel of judges comprised of past and present educators, local business and community leaders. The students and their respective school officials will be notified by mail in September regarding their selection as an award winner. Winning students and school officials will receive invitations to attend the BBB Business & Student of Integrity Virtual Awards Gala held on November 11, 2021.
