BBB Serving the Fall Line Corridor's Education Foundation: Financial Literacy Application & Mentoring Experience
Financial Literacy Application and Mentoring Experience
Through the daily processing of complaints, advertising reviews, scam investigations, and much more, the Better Business Bureau Serving the Fall Line Corridor, Inc. recognizes the overwhelming need for financial literacy. This need has led the BBB Education Foundation, Inc. the education division of the "Fall Line BBB” to produce a vehicle to further educate consumers on the importance of being ethically, informationally, and financially responsible.
BBB's Financial Literacy Application and Mentoring Experience (F.L.A.M.E.) is an engaging, relevant, and impactful experience for any learner. Each individual student will research their desired profession, salary, school debt, home purchase, vehicle, and other everyday expenses. Once the research is completed, submitted to BBB, the F.L.A.M.E. 3-day course will begin. (This course is designed for one high school class period (min 1 class period/max 3 class periods), in a three-day succession, and will work for either a traditional or block schedule.)
