Matthew Fehling
Matthew Fehling, President & CEO

For the last 20 years, Matthew M. Fehling has dedicated his career to ensuring BBB remains a relevant and trusted source. Prior to joining BBB serving the Pacific Southwest (formerly the Greater Arizona BBB) in 2004 as Executive Vice President and being appointed to President/CEO in 2006, Matthew served in several roles across the country including with the Council of Better Business Bureaus (CBBB). Leading the largest BBB in the country, his voice is heard on a national level while serving on the CBBB Board of Directors. Matthew is a board member for Coyotes Charities and is past president of the Valley of the Sun Kiwanis Club. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Mass Communications.

Meet Patty Beckman, VP & Chief Financial Officer

Patty Beckman has over 25 years of successful finance experience in healthcare services, manufacturing, investment banking and education. Most recently, she held the role of National Finance Business Partner for Mosaic, a large non profit serving individuals with disabilities.

Beyond her finance career, Patty is passionate about giving back to the community. She has served as a Scottsdale Unified School District Governing Board Member and President, taught non-credit classes at Scottsdale Community College, Co-Chaired the “Women’s Health and Wealth Symposium” with Scottsdale Healthcare, and served on the board of a local youth theater. Currently, she is proud member of the Scottsdale Charros Foundation.  

Patty attended Arizona State University where she received a Bachelors of Science degree in Business- Finance. This fall, Patty and her husband Shawn, became “empty nesters” as their twin daughters began their college journeys in San Diego and New York. Patty has called Paradise Valley her home for over 20 years and often enjoys an early morning run and taking in the incomparable Arizona sunrise.

Chad Frank
Meet Chad Frank, VP & Chief Activation Officer

Chad Frank is the Vice President of Strategic & Digital Alliances for Better Business Bureau serving the Pacific Southwest (BBB). Chad has worked in the BBB system for 12 years.

Prior to joining the BBB in Arizona in October 2012, Chad worked at  the Cincinnati BBB where he held multiple positions working in Operations and Marketing, and with the Foundation. Currently he manages BBB's sponsorship and co-advertising efforts with BBB Accredited Businesses. Chad is a member of the Phoenix Suns Charities 88 and is a member of the West Valley Mavericks. Chad earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies from the Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Koriann Morales
Meet Koriann Morales, VP & Chief Product Officer

Koriann Morales is Vice President & Chief Product Officer for Better Business Bureau serving the Pacific Southwest (BBB). She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and previously served in the United States Navy and local government.

Re-joining BBB in 2006, Koriann has been responsible for internal operations, BBB core services, and accredited business support. Her team is charged with enhancing the BBB brand through innovation, building accreditation value, and maximizing the user experience for BBB's internal and external customers.

John Ponder
Meet John Ponder, VP & Chief Accreditation Officer

John Ponder is Vice President & Chief Accreditation Officer for Better Business Bureau serving the Pacific Southwest. John began his career with the BBB in 1982 in Detroit, Michigan. He served as V.P. of Business Relations there until 1996. From 1996 – 2016, John worked in a consultative role with several of the top BBB’s in the system, including Arizona, assisting them with their sales and retention efforts. In February of 2016, John relocated to Arizona and became a permanent employee at the Phoenix BBB campus.

Noelle Rooke
Meet Noelle Rooke, VP & Chief People & Culture Officer

Noelle Rooke is Vice President of People & Culture at Better Business Bureau serving the Pacific Southwest (BBB). She has quite literally grown up at BBB. Noelle joined BBB in 2007 as an Administrative Assistant to the Directors. She was promoted to Executive Assistant to the President/CEO in 2008, Director of People and Culture in 2015 and appointed to her current role in 2020.

Noelle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Arizona State University as well as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute. She regularly volunteers at Homeward Bound and is a past member of the organization’s Young Professionals Committee, HBGO. 

Noelle was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. Growing up, she spent many summers traveling to California with her family. With her roots in Phoenix and love of California, she is proud to serve the BBB of the Pacific Southwest.

Michael Sedio
Meet Michael Sedio, VP, Chief Operations Officer & General Counsel

Armed with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Studies and some retail work experience, Michael W. Sedio started his career at BBB in July of 2008 in an entry-level Operations position. He attended the University of San Diego School of Law while working full time, graduated with a Juris Doctor in 2013, and passed the California bar exam the same year. He is currently admitted to practice law in California. He serves on the board of directors at SDX (San Diego Ad Club), has volunteered at a pro bono legal clinic, and represented an asylum client pro bono. He served as Master of Consuelo Masonic Lodge in Escondido, California in 2007 where he was involved in numerous community and charitable committees and activities. Michael is an avid hiker, dedicated Star Trek fan, and married with two daughters.

Alert: It has been brought to our attention that scammers have impersonated the likeness of BBB and Michael Sedio in an effort to give their scams a sense of legitimacy. No employee at BBB will contact you by email or phone requesting a wire transfer of money or threaten law enforcement action. Please contact BBB if you have received any such demand. If you have fallen victim to this scam, please contact law enforcement right away to see if any money lost can be recovered.
