Matthew Fehling
Matthew Fehling, President & CEO

For the last 20 years, Matthew M. Fehling has dedicated his career to ensuring BBB remains a relevant and trusted source. Prior to joining BBB serving the Pacific Southwest (formerly the Greater Arizona BBB) in 2004 as Executive Vice President and being appointed to President/CEO in 2006, Matthew served in several roles across the country including with the Council of Better Business Bureaus (CBBB). Leading the largest BBB in the country, his voice is heard on a national level while serving on the CBBB Board of Directors. Matthew is a board member for Coyotes Charities and is past president of the Valley of the Sun Kiwanis Club. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Mass Communications.

Michael Sedio

Michael Sedio serves as VP, Chief Operations Officer and General Counsel and is available to speak on fraud/crime prevention panels, false advertising, dispute resolution, crime prevention, BBB's operational services, and more. Been with BBB since 2008, a Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law.

Faustine Chan

Faustine Chan, our Director of Community & Business Programs, is a servant leader who has a passion to help businesses grow. She believes in giving back to our community and connecting businesses with resources and education to help them succeed. She leads our business education offerings, and student scholarship programs to recognize ethics in youth so they can bring those values with them when they enter the workplace. She is a past speaker for Liberal Ladies, Valley of the Sun-Camelback Kiwanis Club, AZ Women’s Conference, Veterans’ Community Connections Conference and Williams Field High School. Based in Phoenix, she is available for community presentations and trainings on youth, military and senior education.

John Hessinger

John Hessinger is our Community Development Director, and really puts the title in action as community is his driving force. In his outreach and business connections, he enjoys speaking on the topics of marketing and digital strategies, business ethics, education for scam prevention and community development. He is a past speaker for Arizona Western College and Northern Arizona University and past interviewee for Chamber Chatter Yuma, KBLU 560 AM, Consumer Watch on KYMA Channel 11. Based in Yuma, he is available for community presentations, trainings and media interviews on BBB 101, business ethics, consumer tips, scam alerts, and youth and senior education.

Kryistyna Hook

Kryistyna Hook serves as Director of Media Relations and is the first point of contact for media requests and public company announcements throughout Greater Arizona and Southern California. She enjoys promoting small business and entrepreneur resources, education for diverse populations, and consumer tips to grow an ethical marketplace. She is a past keynote speaker for Arizona State University and interviewee for GoDaddy, CBS 8 San Diego and Arizona News Radio. Based in Lake Havasu City, she is available for media interviews, community presentations and trainings on BBB 101, business resources and events, startup business support and consumer protection.

Marilyn Huffman

Marilyn Huffman, our Director of Community Outreach for Northern AZ, believes small businesses are the heartbeat of our community, and creating connections with people is her number one priority. Through her outreach efforts, she helps consumers understand marketplace intricacies, educates students on online safety, and provides businesses with guidance on how to grow, adapt, and prosper. She is a past speaker for local chambers of commerce, high schools and colleges, Professional Women’s Group of Northern AZ, and interviewee on Arizona’s Hometown Radio, San Diego Fox 5 and CBS 8, and NBC 12. Based in Prescott, she is available for community presentations, trainings and media interviews on BBB 101, consumer tips, scam alerts, and youth and senior education.

Tierra Terry

Tierra Terry serves as our Director of Diversity & Inclusion Programming and is an advocate for community, education, and connection to support the entrepreneurial ecosystem and its consumer base. She oversees the development and implementation of programs and services that promote diversity within and outside of BBB. Her efforts cultivate a supportive and inclusive work environment while leading diversity, inclusion and equity for all. She is a past speaker for Conscious Capitalism San Diego on the Diversity & Inclusion panel and past interviewee on AZ Family, ABC15, Fox 10, and Channel 12 News, and iHeartRadio. Based in Phoenix, she is available for community presentations and trainings on customer service, organizational development and culture, diversity, inclusion, innovation and community impact.

Samantha Scholl

Samantha Scholl serves as the Director of Entrepreneur Programs for BBB Pacific Southwest. She is a passionate advocate for equitable access and opportunity for all and is committed to empowering and supporting entrepreneurs throughout their journeys. Along with her team, Samantha designs and facilitates initiatives providing educational programming, resources, networking, and mentorship opportunities for everyday entrepreneurs and underserved communities. Based in San Diego, she is available to speak on entrepreneurial resources offered by BBB and has been a regular guest on KUSI TV, San Diego Business Journal Livestream and other community outreach events.

Jose Anca

Jose Anca serves as our Capital Access Manager with expertise in financial strategy, program administration, policy advocacy, and community engagement relating to finance and banking. He is the first point of contact for the Phoenix Kiva Hub, a micro-lending program supporting small businesses, specifically those economically and socially disadvantaged business owners seeking access to capital. Based in Phoenix, he is available for Spanish and English speaking interviews regarding the Phoenix Kiva Hub, and is a past interviewee on Money Radio, AZ Family and Phoenix Business Radio X.

Jasmine Hill

Jasmine Hill serves as our Operations Engagement Lead and is experienced with marketplace interactions. She assists both consumers and businesses during the complaint process to help ensure the procedure is smooth, and addresses patterns of complaints solely with businesses for improvement. She enjoys educating the public with consumer tips, advising on what situations we can assist with, as well as the benefits of being a BBB Accredited Business. She is based in Phoenix and is available for media interviews, with past experience on Fox 5 San Diego and One American News.

Rosie Carrillo

Rosie Carrillo serves as our Community Impact Analyst and is a key member of our Innovation and Entrepreneur Programs team. She works closely with entrepreneurs and focuses on program evaluation within her team. Based in Phoenix, she is available for Spanish and English-speaking interviews regarding our program services and offerings. She was recently interviewed for GoDaddy’s Documentary Series, Made in America.
