      ******* *** ******** ********* My wife and I bought a condo in Nanaimo based on strata documents that showed we could have a small dog. It was the only documents we were provided with. When we took possession we were promptly informed by the strata president John W******** that dogs were not allowed. We told him about our documents and he requested them to review and that he would call a counsel meeting to discuss. * ** * ********* ************ *** ****** ***** *** ******** *** **** *** ***** ** **** *** *** ********* ***** * ** ** ******** **** ***** ******** ********** *** ********** I'm not a nobody. I asked him to please make an exception because my wife ******* **** ****** ********** *** ******** *** ***** **** ** ***** ****** ** * *** **** ********* *** ** ***** ** **** ** * *** ***** *** **** *** ***** *** ****** *** *** **** *** *** ***** ******** ****** *** ** *** *** *** **** * ** *** ****** ***** *** ***** ** **** We did not get any response for over a week when all of a sudden we get an e-mail from Colyvan stating we are in violation of strata bylaws and have 7 days to get rid of our family dog or be fined $50 every 7 days. **** *** *** *** ****** ** ****** ****** ** **** ** ********** ***** **** *** ****** ******* **** ** *** ****** * **** ****** ********** So they asked us to get rid of a family member 1 day before Christmas.
