Nice Guy But...I hired Bruce ******************** last June (2022) for a 14 foot cantilever gate to be installed on my existing vinyl fence. After much patience on my part, to this date, the job is not complete. The job was quoted to take 8 to 12 weeks but yet, we are heading into 10 months. Communication with Bruce ******************** is extremely poor and sometimes non-existent. There is no follow up from him which leaves you hanging and, in my case, has affected other jobs scheduled. Bruce ******************** asked for a deposit upfront which amounted to just slightly less than 50% of the quoted price. All materials are still not procured or in place after 9 months and what was done, is poor at best. The cantilever gate support columns are not placed correctly causing the gate to list outward and become unusable. I sent Bruce ******************** a message on February 17th of 2023 to ask if he was abandoning the job. I have not received any communication from him to this date. After several attempts to contact Bruce ********************, I can only determine he has chosen to ignore my messages and abandon the job.To this avail, I was forced to hire a separate contractor to correct Mr. ******************** mistakes and make the gate operational which has resulted in additional costs to me from what was quoted by Bruce ********************. I do not recommend Bruce ******************** for your requirements. I will be seeking restitution to cancel Mr. ******************** for the job and seek a refund of half the deposit.
