Description

Rail Ninja comes off at the front as a legitimate website to book tickets for trains abroad. After purchase, they claim to give give their bought products to consumers within 1 day of purchase. This was inherently not true, and I proceeded to request a cancelation and refund. Their policy states "Unless specified otherwise in fare terms and conditions, we refund 80% of the total price of the canceled ticket". We had a specified fare term to be "Cancellation: 60% refund, service fee is not refunded". The total price of the ticket was $326.00 therefore the refund amount should've been $195.60. However, we were offered a refund amount of $138.00 which is 42.5%. We tried to dispute these charges with the support system offered by Rail Ninja. Their support agent, Elizabeth has been avoiding any offering to give us the 60% and has adamantly kept stating that they are adding a 10% service cancelation fee on top. This service fee was never disclosed and when we tried to asked for the full cost breakdown, they refused to disclose information stating that it's "commercial secret". This company is a scam is its own way. They may not be actually stealing people's money, but if you investigate any other customer of them, they are all going through similar, if not worse, experiences.
