I tried Musescore LEARN and liked it! Yes, the midis sometimes sound weird, but I am teaching my daughter music so it's helpful. I actually wound up purchasing it through an offer that came from Musescore to my email during the trial period. When reviewing my subsequent credit card statement, Musescore charged me an ADDITIONAL FULL-PRICE AMOUNT for an additional part of their offering (PRO). WTH? I had only signed up for the 1 thing that I tried, and in good faith I purchased it. I reached out for a refund of the unauthorized charge but they stated I had also initiated a trial of PRO (which I had not) and the refund was declined per their "gotcha" clause. I wouldn't recommend trying via the “free” trial, primarily because it won't be free. Stick with the totally free option or you risk getting raked. Dishonest practices like this that scam people out of additional money shouldn't be tolerated in this age of 100% online transactions. There are similar offerings from other companies that are more ethical. I am working on getting the unauthorized charge refunded as I have every single email from Musescore to prove the sequence of events. They have not been responsive and/or refused to refund the unauthorized charge. They are not based in the U.S. and don't seem to give a crap.
