Was in contact with someone posing as a dog breeder, that gave me a legit name and address in Ohio, paid half of the cost of the puppy plus delivery fees, then when it came time for delivery through CitizenShipper they sent an email about a required crate rental fee for the puppy to be flown in an airplane for $700 of which 98% would be refunded upon delivery, once that was paid I was contacted about required insurance fee in case of plane crash, theft, etc, for $1,200 of which 98% would be refunded unpon delivery, paid that and then was emailed stating that due to the overnight delay in flight I had to pay the accommodation fee of $200. I paid the $200, and was told the puppy was ready for delivery, didnt hear anything for a couple hours, then i suddenly got an email staying that they were stopped by Pets and Licestock Commission stating that my state required a city permit for the puppy to enter (of which i looked on the state website, the permit they're claiming is not true) and that the officer gave me a 4 hour deadline to pay $2,100 for the permit or the puppy would be quarantined and would cost more for me to get back. They state the full $2,100 would be refunded to me upon delivery, when i refused and asked for contact info for the Pers and Livestock officer they were dealing with, i got no response back.
