I have been applying for remote part time jobs. They originally contacted me through text. original contact was from Emily with Aerotek ([email protected]) she told me that she was recruiting for a part time job and to contact on whatsapp at 18735030540. I did that a supposed lady named mona was to be my trainer. they had me register and I cannot remember but it is definitely possibility that I entered my address and SS#. They claimed that this was a data upload compan;y and had me complete a registration. YOu went through the process and then they had you withdraw money into a krypto wallet. They had me use metamask which seems to have its own set of problems. you did this process twice a day but to start or reset the account you had to give them 101 dollars in krypto. Originally I did not have this amount and had to purchase krypto. I earned 77 dollars from training and had to make up the difference. Each day your salary increased in pay by 10 dollars with a huge payoff at one week and one month (30 consectutive days). On day two i had a combined order which was supposed to be a big payoff kinda thing only you again had to make up a difference to continue and then transferred your balance back to your wallet to start again. At this point I called my son-in law because i did not understand the krypto. He decided immediately that this was a scam and had me pull my money out and block everyone which I did. Metamask will not give you all of your money so i still have 10 dollars in the account. The scammers had a help team and a website that you were working through. All contact was through whats ap and I have screen shots of all contact. Now they keep contacting me telling me that I need to log in in order to complete todays tasks. I block. I was contacted the exact same way on Tuesday of this week trying to be recruited. I have filed with the FTC, placed a hold with Equifax. Additionally there was a chat group of supposed women (i think they were actually bots with the founding member of this chat group was someone named Gwen. When i finally research this it was a man. when i questioned his name, he got very defensive. I blocked.
