Posed as an Expedia customer service representative. Called to make some changes and they were able to access my information based on the airline confirmation code. They sent me an email with the new updates that I confirmed but that also allowed then to charged my credit card with a supposedly refunded amount of the original charge from the airline. They said tthat they would send me a new confirmation by email in 24-48 hours. I called back in 24 hours and then they sent me a confirmation of my original itinerary. How they got my Experian information with my name address credit card info is beyond me. It looked real with all the Expedian imagery and confirmation numbers, dates to and from my destiination . Now I am disputing it with my credit card. The phone number that was originally called was 877-913-1050, then I called the number that was on my credit card transaction 877-306-1575. Upon calling that number I got the exact same music and asked for my contact which then they put me on hold and came back to say that he was currently busy with another customer and to call back in 3 hours... I knew then that something was not right.
