Description

I ordered three pair of shoes from Usualook.com via Facebook on June 26, 2024, I paid with my debit card ($114.72) through my PayPal account. I received the order on July 9, 2024. The shoes I received were not what I ordered. I immediately reached out to the company indicating what I ordered, and misrepresentation of what I received. I requested a refund and that I planned to return the shoes that day. I reached out to PayPal for assistance and to file a complaint. I was advised by Usualook to not return the shoes to 3 Lincoln Drive, Fairfield, NJ, which is located on the packaging, as it would not be accepted. Usualook instructed me to send pictures to their customer service website of what I received, and I would be provided an address to return the shoes. I did as I was instructed communicating via PayPal. I received a message from Usualook via PayPal offering $30 and to keep the shoes. I declined the offer and asked for the return address again. I received a response from Usualook via my email address that they were unable to refund me in full because I filed a dispute, and that I must withdraw it immediately so they could process my refund. I replied that I was not withdrawing the dispute, and I requested the return address again and a status update on when I could expect my refund in full. I reached out to PayPal chat inquiring what recourse I would have if I withdrew the dispute. PayPal chat indicated they would close the complaint, I would not have the option to refile the claim, and I would be responsible for communicating with the seller. In the meantime, I went to my bank seeking information, and they have reached out to PayPal and proceeding with their own investigation. I discovered a different mailing address for Usualook from an email response. Usualook, Yee Lim Industrial Centre, 2-28 Kwai Lok Street, Room A1-13, Floor 3, Kwai Ching, Hong Kong Island Hong Kong SAR. The USPS Tracking number is ***********************.
