I received an Instagram ad for an 80% off sale at Marine Layer. The sale appeared to be a flash sale with only one hour to make purchases. The discounts were unbelievable. We bought 23 items for less than $100 and many of these items would have cost over $100 on their own. I felt something was off given the size of the discount but then got more concerned because the checkout page looked unusual. Lastly the confirmation email didn’t come from Marine Layer and had typos and the customer service number on the fraudulent website didn’t go through to anyone and is actually just the real Marine Layer number with one number changed.
