We were contacted by Intuit Quickbooks of August 2023 stating our current version was ending May 2024 the Desktop version was to be phased out in 2-3 years and we needed to upgrade. Prior to this call we had also been receiving emails regarding the need to upgrade. We had a call on 8/17/23 with Andreas who went over all the pricing-we did nothing after this call. On 11/22/23 we spoke with a Steve who again went over all the pricing and stated we needed to upgrade Desktop Pro 2021 to 2024 -if we did this by 12/15 there would be a discount. The upgrade took place in December 2023 and we were in front of the computer the entire time the install and conversion was done. In February 2024-we received the invoice for payment and it was then paid. Email they used was [email protected] We began getting phone calls in June of 2024. On 6/5/24 Steve called from 800-567-8597-stating they updated their end that we have a license for 3 years. We began getting calls in July about critical errors being reported on their end. Additional payment would be needed to fix the problem. We stated we are having no issues and to send an estimate, nothing was ever received. Email on 9/9/24 from Brad-that are license is not valid and they are going to shut our version done on 9/27/24-our license was being used with other companies in a scam. We need to repurchase a license. Intuit Customer Account Protection Intuit | Powering prosperity around the world 866-288-0589 [email protected] We replied to this email from Brad on 9/12-asking for a call back and we have heard nothing back as of today, 9/13/24 We are unsure at this point who is legitimate to talk and work with.
