Description

An ad for Nousty.com appeared in my Facebook feed. I went to the internet and then to the direct site. I tried to buy a pair of shoes and, when checking out, entered my personal information, including credit card number, expiration date and code on the back. It stated that the card was entered improperly. I entered it 3 more times, all with the same result. I then looked up the site and found that it is a scam. I was watching my local news tonight, and they did a story about online scams that state the card is not inputted correctly, and then use the card and your personal information for fraud. I monitored my credit card statement, and called my credit card company. I am being sent a new credit card with a new number. I am to monitor the account until then. I was told to report to the BBB.
