I had requested more info on a rental property I found through rew.ca. I received 2 emails from Darren Brown, the supposed owner. The 1st email came with pictures and seemed ok, though the price seemed too good. However, the 2nd email made me feel a bit suspicious so I checked BBB and sure enough, someone else had a similar experience. Here are the 2 emails: Hello The apartment it's still available. The rent for the entire apartment (3bed/2bath) is 2200$/month utilities included and 2 parking spots. Full access to all the amenities and facilities. Pets allowed. I have attached the pictures so you can see that it is in excellent condition. The unit is just like in the pictures, fully equipped with all the appliances you need, very clean and well kept. The apartment can be rented and furnished for the same price.If you want you can use your furniture I will deposit mine in the storage unit. Please let me know how many people will occupy the apartment, where you work, and how long you are planning to stay so I can make an idea of who is going to stay in the unit. Thank you!
