      July 2017 there was major water damage to my home resulting in a >$200,000 claim for renovations handled by ServPro. This was handled by my insurance as the water damage was due to negligence by the roofing contractor. The entire house was gutted to the studs.January 2023 after three independent inspections:1) there is extensive mold in my attic due to poor insulation install, This was done at the time of the renovations' by ServPro 2)the soffits are ************* thus no air flow in the attic which allows mold to grow most likely over years since the remodel by ServPro 3) a crack in my main room ceiling with extensive ghosting; crack is enlarging 4) radon fan disconnected in the attic, 5) exposed wires in attic,6) insulation not properly laid. Does not go to the edges which allows cold air in the ceiling and thus the ceiling is cracking and pulling away from the walls.The ghosting surrounds nearly the entire living area.7) mold in the ceiling above the main floor bathroom,8) tiles on the floor of the master handicap shower lifting which have caused mold to grow in the shower walls. The three inspector reports state the grout in the tile floor was likely never sealed allowing the grout to crack and letting water leak thru to the rubber below which allowed standing water to start growing mold. Likely this has been going on for many years since the renovations. Unsure of the extent of mold growing in the walls. Surface mold appears every few days. Three independent inspections state this was from poor workmanship in 2017. They also stated the insulation in the ceiling/attic was faulty install as well as the soffits being covered/blocked so there is no air flow. All recommenced mold remediation.I have reached out to ServPro several times over many weeks, The contactor will not return my calls and have told some employees not to speak with me. They told me to go find another contractor.I believe Servpro had subcontractors but I am unsure who those were.

      DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!! They are a scam and you will have to hire another company to fix the mess they make after they fix your issues. Where do I start with the laundry list of complaints and issues I experienced. To start my project manager ***** is truly a useless ********* who couldnt even text me back when I had questions and concerns, only reason he replied is because I was all over his managers a** about him. He dispatched a crew to my home without prior permission and blatantly lied to me and his manager about his communication and project issues with my insurance company. Most unprofessional person I have ever worked with. He gave many false timelines and when I confronted him about his times lines of a week long project that turned into almost a 3 week project all he had was ******** excuses and racked my insurance bill through the roof. Upon speaking to the manager **** he tried brushing me off like he didnt care I was unsatisfied with the job they were doing. They also dispatch crews who have no prior knowledge of the job they are showing up to. This required me to walk every crew that came to my house of what the affected areas where, what needed to be demoed, etc. it felt like I had to manage my own project so they didnt take advantage of ripping me off and doing a c*** job. Upon completion they reached out wondering if I had complaints. I documented everything and sent them and email and they didnt even care to reply. Not to mention anyone I have spoken with that has worked with Servpro in the past say they do horrible work and many people had to hire companies out of their own pocket to fix the issues they created. I would never recommend this company if youre thinking about it run the other way.
