My wife and I went to Toro Taxes at ****************************************************************, to get our taxes done.We had a price quote via Yelp $169-229. We had a very detailed description on Yelp with all the tax forms described so we can get an accurate quote. After getting the taxes done ****** asked us to sign and pay for the services. Not sure if she knew that By law we should read and make sure everything is correct before signing. Later she said this is a company policy you have to pay first then she can print the forms for you to review, how can a company policy be against the *** rules and regulations, especially after she got so many things incorrect on the tax return.After we got home we started reviewing the taxes, there were so many things things wrong on them, starting with social security numbers, forms filled out wrong, names typed wrong, etc. By the way the quoted price went up to $331. ****** said the price she quoted was for filing "Single", when I had such a detailed description about my wife and daughter and properties when submitting a quote request through Yelp. Later we spoke to *******, who is a Manager or a main Customer ********************** Person on March 14th and she promised they will issue a refund check and we should get it by March 20th in the mail.Starting March 27th I started calling and later emailing ******* asking if she can update on the refund check status if it was mailed or not, or maybe it was lost!Left many messages with the customer ********************** person answering the phone and also send several emails and so far no call back or email reply. The answer I get from the customer ********************** rep is that ******* is busy every time I call. The frustration is hard to explain.
