DO NOT even consider bringing your dog around *******, the owner and handler of Northern Balanced k9.I had field work where'd I'd be gone for a month at a time (2 total) with only 2 days back in ********* to see my critters. I seeked out a board and train that might make time fly for *******, my GSD. Turns out, I accidentally left him in horrible hands.I excitedly went to pick him up for the few days I was in town. The moment I touched him, I could tell he lost significant muscle and his ribs and spine were protruding in an unhealthy manner. That night, when he was doing his cute little smile, I noticed his teeth. I can only pressume it was from excessive, stressful time in a crate. One of his front teeth was discolored and loose. The rest were no longer in line. His canines are all significantly chipped. Since, a canine dental specialist 'fixed' his teeth for almost $3,000. They had to remove 2 and repair basically all of his other front ******** be a dog owner and especially trainer and not notice this is mind blowing. Mostly, to be creating such a stressful habitat for him where that becomes the result is utterly disturbing. He has been crated. By me, his crate is a safe spot he likes to take naps in. Of the 5 other places I've boarded him for 5-20 days, he's been crated for normal periods of time and had zero issues. If this wasn't bad enough, I immediately took off the pronged collar that was too tight around his neck. Later, while I was scratching his neck, I found a bloddy scabbed area where the collar had been. Upon looking, I found more. She did not even check in with me to ask if this would be acceptable gear to use with him. The amount of force and tightness of the collar that must've been applied is appalling. She was supposed to train my dog, not try to break him. Please tell everyone to not let their beloved dog be put in this evil girl's hands.

Charges are extremely high prices for subpar work. ******* the head trainer has no training, education or mentorship and it shows. I worked with ******* for two years and have done far more on my own since I stopped using her services than she was able to teach me. She can do basics but not behavioral training like she claims. I sent my behavioral German shepherd Belgian malinois mix to a multi thousand dollar three month board and train with her and ******* made close to no progress other than managing my dog by teaching her the place command and heavily crating her. She rarely took my dog out to counter condition her to her triggers (which is what I paid her thousands of dollars to do) and instead suggested I manage my dog by keeping her crated for 20+ hours a day. She was unable to effectively teach me how to handle her effectively which made the issues worse. I have made more progress on my own over the last 6 months since I stopped using ******** services than I ever did while using them. Additionally, ******* is extremely manipulative and makes friends with her clients in order to keep them reliant on her. She has a lot of mental health problems that prevent her from doing her job and many days when she is quote too overwhelmed to do anything. She uses these issues as an excuse for why she is derogatory and abusive to her clients and blames them for their dogs not making progress. She also tries to convince clients that they arent able to handle their dogs in order to keep them dependent on her. She charges top dollar for services that are subpar and tries to isolate her clients by badmouthing every other trainer in town. She also associates with other trainers that have records of animal neglect and abuse. This business is run by an immature, entitled and arrogant 23 year old and it shows
