Job completed by contractor April 2022. Damage began in October 2022. Regrouting repair by owner November 2022, February 2023. Photos taken May 2, 2023.Business response

Hello ****,
We are sorry to hear that you are having continued issues with grout line in that part of the shower. As we had discussed before, in order for grout to set properly the entire area must have been unused for up to 72 hours for the grout to ****** properly. Using the shower before that time will have resulted in grout instability and allow for it break apart. Also as we had discussed, grout must be resealed depending on the type of grout. The specific grout you chose recommends every 6 months. Not doing so results in water penetration as well.

I am rejecting this response because:Directions were followed not to use shower for the specified time. Additionally the repair was giver 5 total days to cure before use due to personal travel.
Based on discussion with an outside contractor it was suggested the tile matting used to apply tiles and grout was not installed adequately. The breakage in grouting is predominantly in one area. Where users are standing.
We dont recall discussing resealing requirements every 6months, there dont appear to be any written instruction on billing close out.

Hello ****, as I had mentioned to you through text that we are available to do the repairs that are needed to properly seal the grout.
You were texted on May 3rd after our first initial response to this complaint asking if you guys were going to be available at any time during the week of May 29th.
You had said to work this out with your wife *******, but the complaint for not having the repairs done was from you which we are trying to address.
So please let ** know if you would like for ** to come during that week to get this resolved and the area of grout repaired.
