GVEA sent me an electric bill for ******************************** and I informed them that, I was forced to move out for no reason on 17 May 2024. I have justification to prove. So someone put their electric in my name, which is identity theft. I want them charged and I want refunded my money from GVEA. They were putting other residents meter on my meter. Thats HARASSMENT.Initial Complaint

We have been a customer of ********************** for 5 year and they are the ONLY option in the area, they have taken advantage of this and have let ****s of people go without power in sub zero temperatures. The power goes out nearly every single day. The prices of their service is outrageously high and the outages are constant. If there was an alternative every single family would chose a different company. They are putting peoples lives in danger and make 0 attempt to fix issues, as long as they collect their money.Initial Complaint

They charged us $500+/month for a 600sqft studio cabin that was insulated and hardly ever had anything running. We are not the only ones, there is a FB group and community group full of hundreds of other customers also being victimized by this monopoly. It is either pay or freeze to death and they charge whatever they want no matter how ridiculous the rates. They are now threatening to send us to collections for $588.99, to which we refuse to pay, as they have over charged us for a year and a half and when brought up to the board in a community meeting they admitted that what we were being charged didn't sound right and that they would do something about it and they did not follow through. Please help fight the monopoly that chased ** out of ****** and has ruined families lives in ******.
