May 24 2022 We were to arrive at the Diamond M Ranch RV park June 22 for a 2 week stay and paid for 1/2 of the week #1 and week #2 due upon arrival. The prepaid payment was ****** apx, However when we first booked the site the payment was given in Aug 2021. During that time things changed to interfere in the vacation plans, specifically the cost of Gas and Inflation and we were traveling from ******* to ****** and back again. It soon became clear that it was not a good choice to spend our money and make the trip as we are seniors on fixed income, my husband is a veteran as well so we hated to not go but the circumstances were not favorable so I notified the Diamond M Ranch we could not make the trip and we told them by e-mail noting that we were asking for a refund and providing 28 days yet so they can resell the site without being in convinced.. We had booked 2 other rv sites as well asked for refunds and we did get those back, but I was stunned that Diamond M had refused to send us any refund what so ever...., they said we were to give 30 days notice and only notified them 28 days.. A difference of only 2 days! We have spoken with the manager several times, we did not intend to back out and missed understanding about the 30 days request.. WE do need the refund, it seems so cruel to hold back for a mistake of notifying a 2 days late!. We understand from another woman who works there, that we should be given $335 roughly, refund as they charge a 20% daily refund fee. How can the manager be so heartless, it was an oversight we meant no harm. Can You help us??I can send copies of E-mail exchange is needed regarding the refund.
