      Hired *** to build a cabin for me and my wife........ well that never happened. So we need our deposit back on the cabin that was never started.

      Friesens built my **** sq ft home with very few issues, overall I love my home but as with any building project, there are a few issues needing to be resolved. 1) Nearly all my windows leaked, they were prompt to respond however I wasnt happy with the fix. They simply shot caulking along the tops and sides, after I requested they pull them and recaulk properly. 2) They installed a 12 inch glulam to support the second story floor above our living room when it actually required a 22 inch beam across that span (span tables via Spenards builders supply and ***** cascade).It was also damaged and began cracking and delaminating. I asked for a safe and properly engineered solution but they ignored me and stopped communication. I proposed a metal I-beam solution ignored. Finally I suggested two heavy 1/2 inch L-beams attached w lags along both bottom edges. I purchased them and they sent a crew to lift and install (required LOTS of squeaking to get that wheel greased) still have not been reimbursed the $1300 for the beams.3) front porch was installed on concrete piers. The frost heaving moves the outer portion 5-8 inches in our ******* *******. These heaves are beginning to detach the porch from the house . I asked for them to resolve, suggesting replacing piers with sonotubes they said the frost issue is something they choose not to deal with.

      12/21 *** was paid a deposit if 83k+ for a down payment DIY Cabin Kit. He missed the available barges to get the kit where it was needed. He has since ghosted me and is not responding to attempts to recover these funds. There was a loss of revenue and added costs as I still had to pay those that I hired to do the build of a cabin.

      My elderly parents bought a custom cabin from this company couple of years ago and they received only a portion of the building material. We keep trying to contact them asking where is the rest of the materials, the blue print, building materials like nails, roofing, etc. *********** is supposed to send out a contractor to build it and they said they would send one out but they said the flights to our village have been booked. My parents are elders and they have been scammed out of their retirement money, over $70,000! I need help with this. I will contract the troopers.

      In January of 2020 we bought a diy house package that was to be completed in June of 2020. They finished it in August and stored it through the winter and delivered it in June of this year, minus the windows.I'm now at the part where I need to put the roof on but can't because I'm missing the 2 32 foot long boards that the whole roof sits on. They told me last week that they would be here by the weekend. Weekend has come and gone and still no boards. The lack of communication from this company is appalling. I want my windows and the 2 missing boards delivered asap. I'm running out time, September 6th, to get my roof on.

      The *** kit delivery date was 08/02/21 on their official proposal, and we did not get it to them until this summer of 2022. We suffered major losses due to the increased cost of materials and lumber during the past two years. We take responsibility for not having it delivered on time. As a company, we are working to reorganize and take measure to avoid such things happening in the future. The windows were difficult to get as there is a regular 16 week wait for them at this time. Again, we apologize for the delay, and also for the lack of communication.
