I had a leaking toilet which the plumber referred us to Ready Restoration due to water damage. Ready Restoration came to our home and agreed we needed repairs, but since we had hardwoods, the entire main floor of the home would have to be done. We got our insurance company involved, they too agreed. It was discussed prior to getting our insurance company involved that our company was hard to work with. Our insurance did exactly what they said within a week of the adjuster coming to our home, we received a check to start repairs. This started in September. Ready Restoration came to our home gutted our bathroom to dry the water. It's December and our bathroom is still gutted no work on the floors. In between this time, both the insurance company and Ready Restoration were not communicating well. I was told by the insurance company that the invoice had changed, and they needed to review the changes since the amounts were no longer the same. Ready Restoration kept saying that they could not reach the insurance company, but we were able to contact them on several occasions. Ready Restoration then sent out a company to pack up our home while work was being done. That's company was referred by them. They came to my home and provided the insurance company another invoice for the pack out. Ready Restoration contacted me on several occasions asking me to try to resolve the issue with the insurance company when in fact this is their issue! I contacted the insurance company, and based on what they told us, Ready Restoration was not cooperative and was only asking for more and more money. The insurance company finally told us that they were asking for an additional $***** for the pack out. The estimate for the repairs itself were a little over $*****. The insurance company indicated they would not approve the pack out. They said they would be willing to work with Ready Restoration to come up with an alternative. Apparently Ready Restoration was not willing to do this. Now, we're at a crossroads. Ready Restoration and the pack out company requested that I get a new adjuster! Since things were not moving, we requested that Ready Restoration just come back and fix our bathroom which they gutted! I was told okay. After almost a week went by I heard nothing! I contacted them several times to get my bathroom fixed back up. I received a call from the secretary saying that Ready Restoration didn't feel fixing my bathroom would be beneficial for them financially since the space isn't that big! Then the secretary or whoever had the audacity to tell me that I told her that we had someone else to fix our bathroom! This is a LIE!!!! I never told her anything like that. I told her on the phone that was not true; I told her that we had tile to fix the bathroom. We didn't need them to try and match the hardwoods already in the home. So because I don't have to pay you for new floors and I already have tile, you're not going to get enough money from me! These people gutted my bathroom in September and left it like this when they couldn't get a resolve with the insurance company! What kind of place is this??? They only want to work with you if they're making a certain amount of money. When they were telling us that our insurance company was hard to deal with, the guy discussed with my husband only fixing the bathroom!!!!! I'm so disappointed and disgusted with this company. It's Christmas and we don't have a bathroom, which could have been fixed by now! I want to make sure people know what kind of company this is!
