I purchased a **** camper shell on Feb 23, 2021 through H&H Home and Truck Accessory Center in ******, AL. The day after it was installed, it had rained and there was significant leaking around the windows of the shell that soaked the inside liner. I called H&H that day asking what I needed to do, and I was told to contact ****'s warranty department if I was seeking a refund. After close to a year of trying to get ahold of someone from ****, I was told by **** that if I desired to have the product returned for a refund, H&H would be responsible for that as they were the ones I purchased the camper shell from. **** said, "We know H&H and they most likely will not refund you for the product". After talking to H&H a second time, they informed me that the only thing I can do is send the product back to **** to be fixed under warranty and returned. I spoke to a man named **** and he told me that that he doesn't understand how **** can expect them to refund me if **** isn't willing to take the product back themselves and refund H&H. I however do not want this product and have wanted to have it returned and refunded since the first rain damage. Living down south, it rains frequently, water gets inside the bed of the truck and when it heats up, moisture accumulates on the windows. I'm not sure what kind of damage has been done at this point under the liner. After speaking with other dealers about the issue, they've told me that H&H is in fact the ones who would be responsible for a refund of the product since I bought it off of them. The total price I paid was $3,639.35 (product, installation fee, and truseal). I'm asking for the product to be removed and refunded for just the price of the product plus the 9% sales tax which comes to $3405.76. H&H can keep the money I spent on installation. I would like someone to take responsibility for the poorly manufactured product and lack of customer service I have dealt with during this time.
