I am a disabled veteran and paid DAV 350$ to become a member, with the goal of receiving professional help with filing disability claims with the VA.I got the run around for a few months and then finally they requested a group of forms to be filled out, signed, and faxed back to them. These included a power of attorney allowing DAV to file claims on my behalf, as well as release of medical records. After sending those completed forms back, I heard nothing for about 2 weeks, so I asked (email) them to verify they received them. They replied saying they have the completed forms. (with no further instruction given).I sent another email a week later asking for further instruction. (no response)I called their phone number many times but it would just ring indefinitely .I sent another email two weeks later with a bit more attitude, and they finally responded giving me a number to call in ***********, saying a national service advisor would help me file my claims. I called this number several times and it just rings indefinitely.I sent them an email last Thursday letting them know there is nobody answering that number. No response.I sent an email this morning asking if they are going to be of any use in helping file my claims. No response.It has been almost 1 year since i enlisted the help of DAV. I need help with my disability claims. Since they have power of attorney, its a logistical nightmare trying to get help from anyone else. They got me to pay the 350$, sign over power of attorney, then basically ghosted me.Business response
