  Jan. 2021 Home Depot of Anniston, Al. recommended this company as one of their commercial vendors. I contacted the company and they responded and came to my home and gave a quote of $1000.00, I agreed and the company showed up within a week and started the wiring of upstairs rooms (this was an attic being converted to living space) . I had made the check out and when they left i gave the check to the owner (***** ******). He said that as soon as the sheet-rock was installed they would return and complete the job for me. I had a stroke in the interim and it took several months to recuperate to a level that I could "over see" the continuation of work. The sheet rock was installed. I made several attempts to contact the owner and he would not keep any appt that he made on several occasions. H would not respond to email nor answer phone nor voice mails. I had to hire another electrician and he completed the work required at a cost of $713.00. He stated that the previous wiring was not entirely up to code and he had to fix the problems .

  Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/11/22) */ First of all we did show up and we done $1000 dollars worth of work and was paid and left .. he got sick and we didn't here from him for several months.. we were not paid in full there is a balance to come back and do the finish part of the Electrical.. we also made. A second trip back for free to help him get wires to the locationa that was not ready on the first trip ..and when he was finally ready for us to come back and do the last part of the electrical finish which has been several months since the rough in .. we are now short-handed and very busy due to the pandemic that we have been in.. you simply can not disappear for months then all the sudden want the job finished on your terms .. we have always finished every job we've started and we have never had complaints.. I'm sorry if you got sick and was down for months but we as a company had to move forward to other jobs to stay in business I hope you understand.. and please remember the job was not only $1000 there would have been a balance at the end .. no contractor could have done the whole job for that small of amount.. you yourself just said to finish the work cost over $700 I am not trying to argue but those are the facts .. now what would be far in our situation to resolve this matter Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/11/24) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This company is not being truthful! The owner is fully aware that his stated amount of $1000.00 was the total amount for the complete job. The owner of the company did not fulfill his agreement! He can say whatever he wants but the facts are the truth! This company is a rip-off! He should not be in business and I suspect that if and how often he continues this practice he will be a failure !!! He is attempting to take advantage of seniors and the military!! He owes me the $713.00 that i had to pay for the job to be completed by a real electrician professional!
