I recently hired Next Level Mobile Detailing, owned by *********************, to apply an 8 year ceramic coat on my brand new Corvette. Despite being more expensive than other local shops, I chose **** due to his positive reviews and professional presentation. Unfortunately, my experience turned out to be quite disappointing.During the detailing process, **** accidentally let a canopy fall on my car, causing significant damage that went down to the primer of the paint. While accidents can happen, the situation was poorly handled. **** admitted to the damage in both a text message and a phone call but informed me that he has no insurance and cannot afford to pay for the repairs.This damage means that the factory paint job on the affected panel will need to be replaced. I'll have to leave my car at a body shop, where they'll need to remove parts originally installed at the factory. This not only devalues the car but also disrupts its original condition. Additionally, **** has not refunded my deposit, which adds to my frustration.I specifically hired a mobile service to avoid potential damage, but unfortunately, this plan backfired. I would strongly advise others to ensure any service provider they hire has proper insurance coverage and is capable of handling any potential issues professionally. The lack of insurance, the failure to address the damage, and the withheld deposit have left me extremely dissatisfied with the service.I'm hoping **** realizes the seriousness of this situation and takes the necessary steps to make things right. It's crucial for any professional to stand behind their work and handle such issues responsibly.
