I traded in my vehicle on 8/23 with *************** who was supposed to pay off the vehicle. Its been a month and my lien holder on the vehicle has not received the payment. *** contacted *************** multiple times via phone and text. Ive spoken to 3 different people who assured me a payment was sent on 8/31 yet no payment has been received. This needs to be paid off in full as contracted to do so yet they just keep telling me to wait.Business response

Our accounting office contacted ******************* credit union in which her trade in was financed today and verified the correct payoff address. The credit union representative verify it was the correct payoff address but did notice the check / mailing address did not have the exact department noted in which all payoffs are processed and suggested we stop payment on first check and overnight another check to his attention and the payoff department's exact location within their headquarters which he states is a very large facility. We are taking his suggestion and doing this today 09/21. The credit union will be mailed another payoff check ensuring enough funds to pay the account off in full and it will be overnighted today, and this should resolve this matter tomorrow 09/22 as long as ************ post payoff check on the same day of receipt. We will use overnight tracking number to verify receipt of second payoff check by credit union on 09/22 as well. We apologize for the any inconvenience this may have caused *************** but feel this matter will now be resolved. I will also reach out to *************** personally and provided tracking number.Initial Complaint

My car engine started making sounds. I had to pay to get my car towed to a repair site. I then had to get it towed to Kia also without an reimbursement. Once I got the car diagnosed it was an recall on the engine which was the week of the 13th. Since Kia is covering everything why haven't i received a rental or car due to poor manufacturing. Here goes today December 21, 2021 and I'm still having to make a car payment and walk 4 miles to work at 5:30 in the Morning in 29 degrees weather. I have been reaching out but, Each time I get hung up on.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/01/05) */ Mrs. ***** vehicle is out of manufacturers warranty as she purchased it used from a used car dealer. This is the first time her vehicle has been in our shop. The concern she is having could be covered under a recall by Kia Motors America (KMA). If the repair is covered KMA will cover up to but no more than 10 days of rental. We, Kia Store Anniston - Oxford have 7 loaner vehicles in which all are currently loaned out but we have added Mrs. ***** to the list for when available to assist her in alternative transportation. Until we reach this point I would suggest Mrs. ***** reach out to the dealership she just recently purchased her vehicle from to seek further assistance.
