      King Roofing did my roof about 20 years ago. He also did my mother's roof and my sister's roof. He was highly recommended by several neighbors and people I attend church with. He just recently replaced it again after I discovered hail damage. He helped me deal with my insurance company, kept my yard clean, and he is extremely honest. The roof would up costing me less than the actual estimate. He also cleaned my gutters free of charge on two occasions. I always recommend him when someone needs a roof.

      I've used King Roofing twice. They came highly recommended by several coworkers. They did my mother's roof and my sister's roof. They are extremely dependable and honest. They kept my yard clean, they were very courteous, and they were always willing to answer any questions or concerns. I highly recommend.

      We hired King Roofing to install a new roof for us based on references and reputation. From the beginning, the experience was pleasant. Mr. King was very professional and polite. All the materials were delivered a month and a half ago. My issue arose as it was time to install, and it seemed like there was always an issue that prevented the crew from coming. On three different occasions, we were told they would be here, and all three times they were unable to make it. To make matters worse, we weren't given notice they weren't coming unless I called and asked or on the day they were supposed to be here. I was not impressed with the lack of communication, as I had to change plans multiple times. I decided to start from square one this morning, when our expected appointment was cancelled again. I called another roofing company, and signed a contract for install for 1100.00 less than King was charging us.

      I regret that we were unable to do business with the homeowner, Mr. ******. I regret that his caretaker gave me a low rating based on the circumstances that were beyond my control. There were some weather delays from rain and a delay due to illness. However, the misunderstanding arose when the caretaker, Mr. *****, wanted to wait until the facia work was completed before I started. He hired another company to do this work. Mr. ********, owner of the company, confirmed they wanted to wait until the facia work was done, and he updated me on the progress. I could have started work on the roof during that time period when the materials were first delivered out and there was an opening on the schedule. The roof would already have been completed However, I could not start work on the roof while work was being done on the facia board. This forced me to begin another job until the this work was completed. I did not want to miss work and not start another job until their facia work was finished. I moved on to the next job to avoid a lapse in work. The weather delays were something I could not control, nor was an illness. I even worked weekends trying to catch up so that we could get to him quickly. I actually went to the property to personally speak with one of them and apologized profusely for the delay. The price, however, is something that I don't understand a negative comment on. I charge the average rate, and estimates are available for free by most companies before you even make a choice. These prices could have been compared before I was ever chosen to do the work. If someone bids below the average cost, that should not be something that I deserve a negative comment for. I understand they wanted me to get the job done quickly. I don't understand the negative review to harm a business with a good reputation for 23 years over circumstances I could not fully control-such as delays for their facia work, weather, and illness. I wish Mr. ****** and Mr. ***** the best. I hope they are treated very well by the company they chose and they do a great job for them.
