So Monday Nov 15,2021 I took off work early to go and when I got there the receptionist was amazing I must admit. I get in the chair and the nurse immediately starts looking at the clock and asked if I wanted a cleaning and I said "you can do whatever you want as long as I leave with my cavity filled" She says its late in the day so you can get your cavity filled OR a teeth cleaning so of course I said my cavity filled. So she says my old x-rays are no longer valid so she's takes like 2 mins and shoots some new x-rays and then proceeds to tell me that she needs to ask the dentist if he can fill my cavity "because sometimes you can't fill over plaque." Of course she didn't say that in the beginning. Mind u my teeth are in good shape and I have no swelling no pain or anything I just know I have a cavity. She comes back and tells me my teeth require a cleaning before he can fill my cavity when she just told me 5 mins before I could get a cleaning or my cavity filled. so naturally I'm upset because they have wasted so much of my time from my day off and me leaving early that day. So then she asks if I want a cleaning and I said are you kidding me no I don't want a cleaning. I'm not gonna reward you for wasting my time. So I say literally nothing else. I get up and leave and find another dentist who fills my cavity in one visit. I'm certain its a double charge my insurance thing. AND then I get a letter telling me that I was hostile and they didn't wanna see me anymore which is shocking to me because I was hardly rude in any way if anything the nurse was rude with me. So if they don't do their job and you get upset they don't wanna treat you anymore. Sounds professional to me. Especially in a small town. The last thing I will say is I was never going back to there anyway so they could have saved a stamp. It feels like a I'm gonna get him before he gets me letter LOL. Why double book and book someone at the end of the day when I was extremely clear that it was so important for me to get my cavity filled. just an awful experience and an awful place. P.S. They must have changed ownership because in 2019 they cleaned my teeth and CUT a wisdom tooth out all in the SAME day and now they can't fill a cavity without charging my insurance twice for 2 separate visits.
