We had a custom home built by a builder who contracted fence work to Athens fence Co. Athens fence company then contracted work out to others. Yet they refused to warranty the work of the others they contracted work too. Im 62, this evening when the wind blew in we had three sections come completely apart. My husband had foot surgery but together we stood in the rain putting fence together the best we could. We have 5 dogs in which would have to be walked. One that broke my leg in October. I called a while back and no one returned my call. I am at point of hiring someone to repair their crappy fence. When I do pictures will be posted on ******** and on Athens fence company reviews!

*****************, the fence you are referring to at your home was installed September of 2020. Athens Fence does indeed warranty the workmanship for 1 year. After 1 year, any repairs that need to be made to the fence are required an estimate to be completed. We spoke to your husband in March 2023 after STORM DAMAGE occurred to your fence. He was told at that time that our salesmen were up to 3 weeks out just to get an estimate. This is not our usual wait time, but due to the abundance of storm damage calls we have received, unfortunately this is where we are. Your husband also received an estimate for cost of repair over the phone from our salesman ******. He did not approve of the cost or the wait time he was given. I apologize you are being inconvenienced due to the fence damage caused by the recent storms, however you must realize you are not the only one. Hopefully you can find another company that can get to you faster for the repair.

Athens Fence Company is under new ownership & making the necessary improvements to provide excellent customer service. As with any business, you will have disgruntled people and you will have those that are truly satisfied with the work, however, please be cautious as you read over the reviews and don't let the negative make your decision for you!

Unprofessional. Bait and Switch tactics. Wandered/trespassed in my yard. Contacted police to have them removed. Would NOT recommend.

I am the office manager of Athens Fence, and also the wife of the owner, in which you reference to as a "THUG" that you had to remove from your property. The amount of slander that you are stating against these 2 men is absolutely uncalled for.
We have been conducting business with this customer since April 2021. Our salesman, the other referenced "THUG", has met with her on several occasions at her home due to HOA and the fact that several changes had to be made per the original fence proposal. NEVER was there an issue during this entire process. The customer even contacted the salesman the day prior to this asking him to come back out and quote her for some other fencing. The owner and the salesman were asked to visit the home by the customer to discuss a misunderstanding of the contract. Upon arrival, the customer was irate and continued the entire time the 2 gentleman were attempting to have a conversation with her. Upon things not going in favor of the customer, she stated she was calling the police. Both men obliged so that they could give their statement as well. Regarding the miscommunication error on the invoice, the original contract stated the customer was receiving a portion of aluminum fence with a gate. Per the customer at the end of the wood installation, decided not to have the aluminum installed. The invoice was sent out before the office staff received the change of contract, but was corrected after it was brought to our attention that the aluminum was not installed. AN HONEST MISTAKE. No one, at any point in time, has tried to harass or collect money that was not owed for the work completed. Enjoy the fence! It is absolutely beautiful!
