About 10mths ago I purchased a 2007 lexus rx350 w/74k mi for about $12k with a 10mo or 10k mi warranty. On 6/25/22 I had a major oil leak and had ar immediately towed to Hardy Automotive after adding 2qtr of oil to be safe. I followed to allert that it could not be started/driven. Hardy inspected and said it needed a OIL COOLER LINE that was a recall but now expired. Meanwhile I called McCurry &allerted Eric of problem where he advised me that it would fix under warranty,but in thier shop. I had towed to McCurry advising Eric of SAME PRECAUTIONS and answered the question of what part was needed to receptionist as instructed. After 3d I could get no response so I arrived and called from lot and ****(repair Mgr) said it needs a new motor and it would be a wk before arriving. Mind you if they had not driven or kept started it would only have needed a $130 part. He stated work would be at thier cost.i only got car because of 74kmi and know would I know if they put a motor w/200k. McCurry doesn't want to give a extended warranty only remainder of old(less then 1kmi or 2-3 wks). also not giving me anything to drive only wanting me to rent a car from them. I am wanting a extended warranty of substance or my money returned for all payments including down payment. Remind you I only bought car because of 74k mi and I find it hard to believe they can replace a motor with that mileage on a "07. I feel like I'm going to pay for their mistake with an high mileage motor and in financing. Furthermore, McCurry knows they destroyed my motor by driving it with no oil and thus the reason they are replacing motor, no cost to me. I also feel as if McCurry never planned on telling me the motor is being replaced, until I physically showed up on lot. Please help,
