On November 18th I was coming though ********* and I needed someone to fix my brake caliper and pads on my 2012 dodge ram ****. I contacted tire express and auto care and they put the stuff on that I needed. I had to pay ****** to get everything done. 2 weeks later on December 5th I was driving down ************* going through *********** ********* and I heard this loud noise when I tried to stop. I couldn't stop like I was supposed cause I felt my brake go all the way down to the floor. I was able to slow it down without causing harm to myself or others. I called a mobile mechanic to come fix it and before he could take the tire off he said my brake caliper had come off and whoever did the work didn't know what they were doing. He said I was lucky to even stop it like that. I took pictures of the damage to my rim on the inside caused by the caliper coming loose and scrubbing. It had lost 2 bolts. He wrote on the receipt last person to work on the truck left the caliper and bracket loose and that's why it broke down. He also checked the brake caliper on the right side just to make sure it wasn't coming loose knowing that they put brake pads on. He had to tighten that one up also because it was coming loose but it didn't lose any bolts like the caliper on the left front tire. I had to pay him 400 dollars. I've tried contacting the shop by calling and emailing. They answered the first 2 times and been ignoring me every since. I got all receipts showing everything.
