I rented a washer on a payment plan to be charged bi-weekly via my credit card. My card was compromised and I had to get a new card. Around 4-6 weeks ago I spoke to a clerk at the office. I gave them my new card number and they processed the payment. The clerk told me that they would refund the late fee due to the situation and that the new card information would be entered. Two weeks later, I received a phone call from the credit manager stating that I did not make a payment. I explained the situation to the credit manager and told him that I spoke to the clerk and that the new card was entered for payments to be taken out bi-weekly. The credit manager told me that I would have a late fee and I explained to him that should not be the case, as I had been told by the clerk that the new card would be on file and the payments would come out, so it was not my fault. The credit manager proceeded to charge me the late fee. After I hung up from the credit manager to make the payment, I called the corporate office and was told that they would have the franchise owner speak with me. I still have not heard back. I also called to speak with the general manager and still have not heard back. Two weeks later, no payment has been taken out and I called to speak with the credit manager again. He told me that he did not know what happened but he would handle it immediately and no late fee would be taken as I called on the date the payment was to be taken out. Another payment was to be taken out on November *** which was not taken. I called to speak with the general manager on Monday November *** and spoke with Chris who told me the general manager was at lunch. I called twice more with an hour interval between each time and he was still at lunch. The general manager has not called me back. I have spoken to the credit manager but need to speak to the general manager or franchise owner. I have not made the payment because I need to speak to the general manager or the franchise owner.
