      12/31/2022. 8AM. Called for carpet cleaning. Advertised as $88. When tech got here he told us deep cleaning would be over $350 for 1 small living room. We were expecting the carpet to be cleaned for $88. We declined the deep clean. Tech vacuumed, sprayed a deodorizer and raked the carpet. Said he was done. Carpet looks just the same. Not clean. Would like to be refunded. We will have to rent a carpet cleaner and do it ourselves.

      my wife spoke with ***** and he told us they would be offering us a refund or not cash our check for $88.  they have since cashed our check.  we want a full refund or we need to know what other steps can be taken.

      On 8-23-22;I booked Order ID **************, for carpet cleaning for 3 Rms & 1 area rug. Ad said $88/3 Rms; 450 Sq Ft. I also said we needed spot clean, deoderize, and flea treatment.8-24-22; Tech (JT) visually checks the 3 ********** Says he'll ask Boss on Cell outside.He returns and quotes us $3,400! I ask him to repeat, which he does (in front of my son too.)I tell him no. I ask him if he has a Contract with a breakdown of Costs/Services (as he says he's quoting for 800 Sq Ft., extra services, etc. Actual Sq Ft is about 500/550.) He says that it isn't needed, barters down to $1,700.I ask if he can just do the regular cleaning. He says he can't, but since we're so nice, he'll do it for $1,200. I was in a desperate state.Even though I saw the red flags, it had been many years that I had used a professional carpet cleaner. So, I agreed.He wanted to be paid by check. I Pd. Ck.5674/$1,200. The Receipt/Contract he gave me, states that I agreed to many things. But I only saw it after-the-fact, and never Signed it.I was texted a survey; for his work, I gave him a good rating. Afterwards, I became aware that I had been overcharged. I decided to contact the Co.8-25-22 (Mgr-M?) ************; Msg 8-26-22 (Mgr-M?) ************; Msg 8-29-22 Email Ph ************, J answers, hung-up 8-29-22 Corp ************; H says Mgr-M at lunch.8-30-22 *********/Landline; hung-up 8-30-22 Sent text to ************; survey sent from here.8-31-22 Text replied that they'd send to Mgr.9-2-22 I texted that I hadn't heard from anyone. They said they'd forward Msg again.On 9-21-22; I sent a complaint/File No ******** to the ******************. They were contacted, but didn't respond.This has been my experience with Safe-Dry carpet cleaning. They have used ************** Ads, and bad business practices in dealing with seniors. They've been given every opportunity to engage privately with their customer, but haven't.That is why I'm asking for your help.

      Sorry to here that , policy when booking ! Online or over phone per coupon is that a technician will arrive to your home , look at cleaning give a up front price in writing and if you agree he will do the cleaning ! This info is on our website , and also listed on online booking tab . We stand behind our work as stated , if your unhappy we will return free of charge . But because this a price you agreed to at the time job is completed , and paid and stated you where happy with cleaning , I cant agree with any refunds

      I am rejecting this response because:  The complaint isn't about the cleaning that was done.  The complaint is about their ************* estimates, their ****** inflated charges, (which were never presented in writing for me to review), as well as their economic abuse of seniors in a desperate curcumstance.  Had I accepted the first quote of $3,400, they wouldn't have had a problem robbing me of thousands.

      The evidence submitted before explains all of what happened.  It did omit the fact that I was the Caretaker for my mom in ******* care in my house at the time.  So, I was in a pressing situation to try and get rid of the fleas.  ******************** and their Technician took advantage of that situation, to charge fees that are not standard.

      Additionally, the service they provided did not take care of the flea problem, (which was the main complaint.)  As professionals, they should've explained that steam cleaning would've been a better option for that.

      Online quote for 7 rooms and hallway. When tech came quoted $1200. Online special shows $ 88 for 3 rooms. I had 7 and was being asked to pay $1200. Bait and switch. They knew I was under a time crunch and couldn't get anyone else.

Only preforming the service that is agreed upon. If the price is not agreeable, there is no charge for us coming out, free quote. We also stand behind our work, so there is nothing due unless you are happy with results. Invoice shows you were satisfied. Please contact our office directly so we can resolve this. Shows you paid $754.39 for 8 rooms, over 2 thousand square foot of carpet with stairs.  We look forward to hearing form you.

      If you talk to your tech the original quote was over $1200 for 8 rooms and stairs.  I actually removed 3 entire rooms from the ckeaning.  So it  was on 3 rooms and stairs for $700and probably around **** Sq ft. So more than $1.40 per square ft which is way overpriced.

      honestly feel like I was taken advantage from this company. They advertised 3 rooms for $88 so I told her I needed to have the master bedroom done as well and she gave me a quote of a $150 - $160. When the technician showed up he quoted me $550 for 3 rooms and one master master bedroom. I told him that is not what they advertised, it was very deceptive and a classic BAIT AND SWITCH SCHEME. I could understand it being 20 or $30 more for pet stains however this is over 3 times that cost that I was quoted. I will never be doing business with them again and will be filing a complaint with a Better Business Bureau. So I asked the technician to do just the one of the smaller bedrooms that had the pet stains in there and I was charged $185, that's over twice the amount that the 3 for $88 package was all about. It's a total scheme. ?? I paid $185 for 1 room when their ad said $88 for 3 rooms. I want to be refunded the difference.

      Pet urine was the reason for the additional charge. The $88 coupon does not include cleaning of pet urine. We stand behind our satisfaction guarantee. Our records show refund has been mailed.
