F is a fair rating for this company. The Sales Person who came to give the estimate was at our home for over 3 hours, until after 7PM. They admitted they had not told us appointments take that long. We expected them to measure, ask questions, and leave. When we called ********** to complain, they defended their process/sales model, which is more like a used car salesman complete with pressure sales, calls to the manager for a better price, and taking up way more time that anticipated. They provided only 1 hand-drawn design option in that 3 hours. We were not both home when the Sales Person came to give the estimate. Our copy was the second page of a duplicate. Good thing my spouse took a photo of the top sheet because the prices for the three closet materials and add-ons (shelves, shoe racks, drawers) are not legible on the pink duplicate. The price looked great until we noticed it did not include acce$$ory. So, we called ********** Closets, in an hour they provided several closet layouts on a computer! We had added and taken away options in real time, and had a real price, not the price before shelves, etc., to share with my spouse. After we reviewed the design options mailed to us, CC was able to make the change we asked for on the computer in a matter of seconds and send us a 3-D model of our closet.

I wish I could rate this business zero stars. They installed my closet, almost killed me with the fumes from the stuff they used. Another installer comes to finish the job. Then the so called general manager shows up to my house, looking all around trying to see what I have in my home. They stay out in the garage talking low. My cabinet is done and the installer damages my ceiling in two different places. The general manager says they would refund me $200 dollars because I have to get my ceiling repaired. Three weeks passed no refund. Im told the refund is in the mail. I knew he was lying so I write a yelp review. Minutes later I get a call from the manager stating its not fair that I give a bad review. Is it fair you damaged my ceiling in my brand new home and I have to pay the builder to repair. No refund check and the manager is never in the office. This business need to be shut down. Please do not patronize Closets By Design they are scam artists and over priced work. Im going to write a negative review until I receive my refund!

I hate that there is even an option for one star, they don’t even deserve that. This company has been out to my house 7 times and the job is still not right. The GM himself said he or his install manager would install it correctly or we could part ways. They didn’t show up and when a regular worker showed up it was installed incorrectly. Not to mention blood all over the walls and the mat in the bathroom from where the worker cut himself. Also they will be at your house to at least 11:00 pm. Tyree M***** the GM claims that there is no one above him to talk to, I’m guessing because his manager would be highly dissatisfied with Tyree. After all of this and the job still not complete they charge my card for the remaining balance. All I can say is do yourself a favor and stay away from this business and their scam. There is a reason they are not with the BBB

This is the same thing that happened to me. My install was scheduled for January 24, 25, and 26, 2022. The workers showed up the late the first day (Jan. 24). I called the office and spoke with Camille (Office Manager) and she wasn't even aware that they were not at my home yet. The two man team (I thought there would be more installers) an hour late, took off all my baseboards in the areas that were supposed to get redesigned, while doing this my walls were damaged and area ripped. Their patching work is horrible. As the days go back...and Jan. 26 comes. Their workmanship is terrible, I have so many issues with my design and THEY DID NOT FINISH the job. The packed up and told that their manager would call me the next day (January 27) to reschedule another appointment to complete the work. My house looks like a tornado went through it. I cannot hang up my clothes because nothing is there to do so and and I can't put up my food inside the pantry (the pantry was supposed to be redone as well) because the design is not what I wanted so they left it unfinished with no shelves inside it to put my package food away. This is the WORST COMPANY EVER and they lack in communication skills....I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING THEM. Save your money.
