I made a $7000 payment to *********************************** of Legacy Rental with check dated May 26, 2023 and check clearing my account on May 30, 2023. The work on the roof was to start immediately due to leaks that were coming through the ceiling. If he could not start in the next day or two, I requested that he put a tarp on the roof until he could start. He say he would. The work on the roof was supposed to start on June 6, 2023. I spoke with ***** on June 8, 2023 and he made reference to tenant complaining about debris being in the yard and on the deck. I thought he was referencing the work on the roof only to find out months later, he never started the work on the roof.After conversing with him on July 28, 2023, he admitted there was no reason for the over 60 day delay of starting and finishing the roof after deposit was made. I asked him to refund my money due to his two month delay of removing and installing a new roof. I have documented the numerous times he told me that the work was to begin on the roof at my property ************************************************* which was supposed to start on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 but never did. At this point, I was receiving pressure from my tenant that they have adequate living conditions and I had to find another contractor to do the remove and replace the roof. I sent text and email notice on August 5, 2023 to ****** again requesting a refund of my $7000 deposit back by Friday, August 11, 2023 via certified check or cash because the roof work on my property STILL had not started. Note: This business has listed on its Face Book page that it is accredited by the Better Business Bureau and your listing states that it is not. This needs to be changed on their page as to not mislead prospective buyers.Initial Complaint

Date of transaction: September 28, 2022 Amount of money: $4,108.00 Business committed to provide service: Legacy Rental and Services, LLC P.O. Box ***** **********, ** ***** ************** ************** Nature of dispute: General Manager of Legacy Rental and Services, LLC, ***********************************, collected $4,108.00 to complete some repairs at my home at ********************************************************************. Legacy Rental and Services started the repairs in October but have left the job incomplete and have not returned. **************** has avoided attempts to resolve this matter. I have solicited the assistance of colleagues, mutual friends and relatives in my efforts of contacting **************** to no avail. Remedy Seeking: I am seeking a full refund in additional to cost to repair damage caused by employee of Legacy Rental and Services, LLC.
