July 24,2023 *************** paid ihangtv $1,835.90 to run extra wiring, install two 70 TVs and ****** for Church live streaming with all wires hidden. The young man who installed them assured us that they were installed properly but if there was any problems to call his number which he provided. The TVs would come on and go out, wiring on two of them dropped. We have made over 8 separate attempts by emails and phone calls and was told by the receptionist that she would get the complaint to the installer and they would contact us. No one has responded after months of waiting. I spoke to ****, the receptionist on **** informing her of the entire situation and this was our final attempt to resolve the issue, she assured me she would get the complaint to the installer and they would respond.Business response

After receiving your complaint dated 12/06/2023, our team promptly initiated an investigation into the matter. On 02/26/2024, our technicians revisited your premises to thoroughly examine the installation. We are pleased to report that upon inspection, no issues were found with the actual installation performed by our company.
Upon further discussion with you during our visit, it was determined that the issue stemmed from user error rather than any fault in the installation process. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this misunderstanding may have caused you.

October 12th 2021. iHang TV employee came out and mounted a 42 inch TV on a kitchen wall in my home. They left a hole where a child or anyone could stick an object or put their fingers through it. He left a hole when adjusting the TV to a comfortable height. I contacted the owner ****** and he wanted more money for a job I was not satisfied with the service provide. I wanted to secure the hole in the wall was patched for safety reasons. ****** didn't use any power tools or safety precautions while mounting the TV on the wall. He used only basic tools such as a screwdriver to create a home mount in the wall for the TV and required me to have a extension cord for him to plug up the TV to the wall.Business response

Good Afternoon,
This is complaint was brought to ** by **************. After conducting a very thorough investigation into her complaint that included listening the recorded calls, to looking for the actual work order that ************** actually signed that she was completely satisfied with the performed installation. (See Attached Document)
At ihangTVs.com we provide 5 different basic standard installations. During the initial recorded call to our offices by **************, this was completely explained. ************** chose our lowest priced install at $99.99.
After the installation was performed ************** was satisfied indicated by the signatures on the paperwork. (See Attached)
************** made calls to our offices to ask us to come back to do something extra or different to the installation and to her liking. Then started saying that if we don't we will regret it.
We offered to come back out to upgrade her installation for the difference of the upgrade vs her previous installation.
************** said that she's not paying us another dime. And became very irrational.
The installation provided is our basic $99 TV install and a flat mount $49.99 where hide the client's existing wires through the wall to exit out of a lower installed plate.
The only remedy is to upgrade her install for the difference. Also this is ****************** first time ever hanging a TV.
Unfortunately this is something we can't remedy without her full cooperation to upgrade the installation.

To add to the existing complaint, it was discovered that the ** was not hung on a stand and the ******** was improperly hung and it had only three screws instead of four and that the ** could fall at any moment. I did contact the company Sunday afternoon on October 7th, 2021 and notified them about the issue.Customer response

The TV continues to be a Safety Hazard rrd after ihangTV called to schedule a service appointment. They have yet to com out and fix the situation. I made several attempts, I also connected two their representatives and asked them to leave me a message if I'm available and I would call them back. I offered to repair the holes if they took the tv down and start a new mounting process. I made calls to iHangTV on October 19th to October 21st. I will not pay anymore money for batched up job. They want a 3% pay if I used my credit card. I gave them cash on the day of the job. After noticing no inclusion of a "Stud Finder" It was noted that the unsafe installment could potentially fall at any moment. I assured that I would be contacted by the iHangTV owner or reschedule and appointment by the scheduling department. I have yet to receive any calls from them. I am willing to give them the estimate to have someone else come out and get the job done,right.Business response

Ext. **** , I did not wish to close out this case. The business should be held accountable for their actions. The business did not answer the complaint and the mountain continues to be a safety hazard. I would have responded to a service request, but they called and never set up an appointment to come out to fix the issue. I want my money back or for them to come out and do the job properly and safely for my family, please.
